I will say it once again, why did tanki even make them as holiday exclusives if they are gonna bring it back, while everyone purchased those for like 60k to 120k crystals, now what, you can get them from a free to acquire or £1 ish box, even if rare, it's pure utter garbage. As for XT skins, many old tankers will be annoyed too, buying the xt for 500k, now if tanki doesn't implement this correctly without taking care of it's relations, a lot of old players will leave the game.

Either pay 500k to get the XT ASAP or potentially waste hundreds of dollars before getting one. I believe that's the logic they're going with.

Hmmm, the ideas are not set in stone yet, i still have yet to see what will happen with a few of my items, I have m0 hornet 10/10 and xt m4 hornet, i wanna see how they can adjust this, cuz i like both, if one were to disappear, it would trigger me. as for the potential, let's not forget they could also be found in 1 box too, depends on RNG after all.

A lost of parkourists will also be annoyed if they have m1 wasp and xt m4, so if tanki messes this up, its a big no no. although XT skins are a different topic to this thread xd.

good idea, except i don't agree on the vavilon, peppers and international paints. you should only be able to get one of those from containers if you don't have any of the championship X paints. once you get one of them you can't get the rest.

 

 

I bought synergy to show my eternal allegiance to them. i don't wanna get another paint for another clan.

i'm with you and @Akame on this one, if somone have Vavi as an example, he can't get any other fan paint from that championship, but say there is a new player who just registred to Tanki on 2018, i see that's it's fair for him to be able to have a 0.00000001 chance to get one of the fan paints from that championship from the containers, as soon he get one, he won't get any other one.

 

Same Thing for Team Russia or Team International.

The main thing I'm tryna say is that those paints signify a certain event time, they shouldn't have ever been brought back at all. Afterall, one of the main reasons me and a few are still here is because of our special paints that signify that we were here, for them to take away a crucial memento, it's heartbreaking, I reckon they will implement it soon for money of course.

 

Well, at least we should also agree on traceur not being available since it's related to MOP participations. As for the rest, i still believe they should be exclusive, or a decent idea would be for tanki to have special containers on events that can return those paints. I.e on xmas, a different container for xmasy items. halloween containers for those. That would honestly keep it more special and I wouldn't mind that since the paints would still keep their holiday exclusiveness.

Other than major income, what real reason is there to add all those legendary paints to containers? It only creates a false representation of who the player is. 

 

I would rather see exciting, new paints that show creativity. Possibly hold a paint designing contest and the best 3 get added? Or take some inspiration from the Creativity Section on the form, there are a lot of talented designers there with new ideas. Some have already demonstrated it. There is just no effort in re-releasing old paints and it's lazy. 

 

Take the Nissan GTR Skyline, with all the races they won they are worth major money, especially if they are fully original. Now if Nissan remade them what would happen? They would completely lose their value because now anyone who has the money could buy them, there would be no value in them anymore. The exact same thing happens to these paints. 

 

Does it sound greedy? Probably, but some people like to stand out in one form, and others can do it in another in the form of new exciting paints.

In the military veterans are honoured for fighting on and on after their fellow comrades die one after another beside them in action, they sacrifice their health and body for their country.. all you do here is come to have fun, there's nothing honourable about that.

just to let you know, Sky paint was a Holiday paint (May Holiday) so it wasn't an award paint before, that's why i added it to my list, but if it's a reward paint now, i can remove it from the list, i have no problem with that.  :)

Paints doesn't make you who you are, you need to get that idea off your head, you SKILLS or forum contributions make you who you are.

 

you just got Arachnid paint from a container, it's an exclusive paint from the Shop, you where very happy to get it, i didn't see you say that it should stay a distinguished paint for the buyers only, but when it comes to paints you already have (Moonwalker) you become very defencive and you don't want anyone else to get it.

About Arachnid, if it wasn't in there I wouldn't have gotten it would I? Heck, if I had to loose that paint, and all my other rewards to get Moonwalker, Red Suit, Eternity etc to be removed from containers I would without hesitation.

You took a real blunt view to war there. I never bought anything like that up. It's just a fact that players who started earlier than others will have items that other new players do not. Thats just life. It's like your grandparents complaining that they never got to use a touch screen smartphone during their youth, unlike us most people have one.

 

 

I used a perfect example including a Nissan GTR Skyline and everyone just ignored it and continued to to bombard me with 'Tanki can make money from it' I asked for other reasons than that one. This kinda proves there isn't any other ones...

This shouldn't be the case to start with, i remember when Moonwalker was avaliable i said clearly that there shouldn't any paint avaliable only few a few days, i said back then that it's the wrong policy, since new players even buyers could never get that paint, but nobody listened to me back then.

 

but now it seems that Tanki realised that putting so much effort in designing a really awesome paint then selling it only for a few days is a very bad approach, it's better to keep it avaliable for ever, but with big price (to please people that like to show off) and add it to containers with a 0.00001 chance (to give free players hope to get them one day too.

 

Eternity is still Eternity, to get it you need to be very lucky, or to spend at least 100 dollars bying containers, and even then, you may still not get it, so basically, it's still extremely rare.

 

however, i do really understand your frustration about Tanki making some paints you bought just because they are exclusive in time avaliable again, i really understand that, so i hope Tanki stop SAYING "exclusive paints" from now on.

This is what i'm trying to address here, the wrong mindset some people have, Thank you so much for putting it in such short words.

 

1 million people have flow paint shouldn't make your flow less attractive to you, it's not about people, it's about you wearing a paint you personally like, this is how it should be.

 

i'm a big fan of Roger paint, i don't care if everybody got it for free, i'd still wear it with pride.

Making money is already a good enough reason, so there's no need to come up with more. Starting the game earlier than others doesn't entitle you to anything special.

If at all, ONLY Holiday paints should be added to the current list in-game. IMO, that's the only way to save face and not get yelled at by all the veterans like me. HOLIDAY paints only, not one-time paints like Moonwalker. I'm still salty that my once rare Moonwalker - on @gabrielau23 - is now just given out for free.

this will encourage players to buy even more containers, this mean more legit income to Tanki without hurting the free players, and free players too could have these paints from the 3 containers they get from finishing weekly missions chains, a win/win situation for everybody !  :)

so what, you got Moonwalker at 3000 crystals back then, now people could have it if they bought 100 container (and they still may NOT get it), where is the part that hurt your OWN profile ? does that take away your own Moonwalker paint ?

and i do understand that you talk about it's value in time, but that shouldn't matter to you, you got it from the event, while some crazy buyer got it recently from spending 100$.

 

for me, i'm just happy that i got it with cheap price back in the days, now i realise it's value even more since new players need to spend a LOT of money gambling on containers hoping to get it.

sometimes we need to see things as they are, Tanki is a stupid Browser Game, nothing else, there is no value for everything we do here, we are here simply to enjoy our free time, don't give things more value than they are, don't be a nolifer.

Most veterains quit sooner or later, every game company knows that, that's why Tanki focus on the players that could spend theire money here (new players) and this is why i'm expecting even more paints to be added later to the containers, with or without this Topic, and with or without our approval (myself included).

That's what makes the event special, doesn't it? Knowing you'll purchase a rare paint that only you and a few other people may have.

 

This just removes all the magic from it in my opinion. And if you keep to argue about fairness and all, how do paints give you an unfair advantage?
