This to me seems a little complicated but absolutely interesting. This is indeed exciting. But I guess small communities might be having a real hard time to win. I hope everything goes as planned being FAIR to all the communities. Looks like T.O is going for a massive event. Well done T.O. Loving these positive changes since NIVES took over.

@Nives, can you tell devs to increase the rewards for the other communities except Russian so that people don't betray there own land? Somehow I feel like I'll be the only one fighting from EN community and everyone going for RU paint...

Here's my attempt to comprehend what we're supposed to do in the TO War event:

To start off one joins one of four factions to help complete the following objective:

The global goal for each faction is to collect resources (Survey Data and Rocket Fuel), and to capture and defend for 1 full turn the central region of the map with the Nuclear Rocket.

I believe this "Capture and Defend" stuff will occur on the special TO War site, not in the regular TO game itself.  Thus, on this special site, there won't be special team battles.  Rather, the site will simply show progress of the factions during TO War.

And the one thing that progresses a factions' goal is faction players amassing kills and improving the faction's average K/D ratio.  Given that faction players can play any mode (non-Pro battles only) to get these kills, TO War participants can just treat this event as a Crazy Kills Giveaway.  Just go for the most amount of kills you can do at a good K/D ratio, and that's all.

All in all, after purchasing a faction paint, just play Tanki Online as you normally would, amounting kills and staying alive for the battle objectives.

So you are telling me… I need to make 200 kills IN 48 hours every 48 hours??

Dude, 200 kills in 24 hours for participation in this event & the next 24 hours, you have to kill certain amount of kills, they just mentioned "kill quota", so no idea about the figure.

200 kills for each vote? Or once you make 200 kills with the paint you can vote every time? Either way, probably too much for me.

Everyone who buys the winning paint gets the rewards? Or only people who get 200 kills and vote? Or some other limitation?

To participate in each turn of 48 hours, you have to get 200+ kills within first 24 hours to register your participation for next 24 hours. Every time, you participate for a turn, you have to get 200+ kills on the first 24 hours & some kill quota for your faction for the next 24 hours. Each 200+ kills is separate for each turn.

Of course, you have to get 200+ kills to get any rewards, be it final rewards after winning the War or if your faction claim unclaimed territories. Without participating with 200+ kills, you will not get any reward.

Additionally, there are several regions with a one-time bonus, and after you capture one of these regions, all players who contributed to its capture by participating in the Strategy and Battle phases will earn in-game prizes!

To win the War, you need to complete ALL 3 conditions:
  • Collect 10 points of each resource;
  • Capture the central region with the rocket;
  • Hold the region with the rocket for 1 full turn.
The winners will get containers, crystals, rare paints and will reign over the world!

I think this event will require too much time, like the social network event.  Another problem is going to be logging onto the website created for the event, and accessing that site. The last time there was a new site for an event it loaded very slowly or not at all.

My suggestion for these events is to reduce the requirements. I don't think in game terms it is necessary that players have to do 100 or 200 wins a day to be able to have a say so in the event. Maybe it's to get participants to buy more supplies.

If the requirements were reduced to a doable level like one half or one third of the 200, for instance 100 or 66 kills, it might attract more participants.

The event will interfere  with doing daily missions,if that's what some players are used to and like doing.  It looks like a player can just do the k/d part and help out, though some battle modes and maps are better for some for k/d than others. If that's the case, then players will have to either give up some daily missions,or work extra to get a good k/d; that could go on virtually forever, and still never be achieved.

I like to play the game when I feel like playing a computer game, not be on some kind of schedule with pressure to get this or that done in time. For me, the game is recreational.

Umm I Already know RU has the best chance of winning considering all those mults in EN  <_<

So go team RU  :P

My question is, does this event only account for DM mode and that specific map chosen? (for attck and def)

You do NOT have to get 200 kills to participate in the event. You only have to get 200 kills if you want you want to vote on which region to attack.

Voting is another meaning of participation, I told in simple way possible for others to understand.

Wait, let they discuss more in Herald Issue #2, then choose RU, btw this event is for all mode only in non-PRO battles.

N3tralRE's post here clears up many questions ppl been asking.

Days 1, 3, 5 etc 200 kill IF you want to vote. Days 2, 4, 6, etc play TO and hyou results are added to everyone else wearing your Paint.

The global goal for each faction is to collect resources (Survey Data and Rocket Fuel), and to capture and defend for 1 full turn the central region of the map with the Nuclear Rocket.

The 200 kills is optional if yu want to vote on strategy. Otherwise you just play TO as you normally would but wearing a specific Paint. Your fears here can be put to rest.
