So, once the event is over, can we still keep the paint?

Until the next War event.

when can we get the paints?

Closer to the start of the event. It's expected to start in mid-Februari.

Interesting comments on using k/d as the point mechanism for TOWar. I do agree (without deep thought) that k/d is about the only parameter possible. All the others are just counting stats. Bigger teams will  probably win counting stats every time. With an average, small teams might even have an advantage.

But then there's mults and sabotage. Small teams are most vulnerable to mults undermining their k/d. One suggestoin was to throw out low k/ds below a certain level.

For all we know, TO will do this. Maybe the system uses only the best 200 k/d results / team. Or maybe the low scores are tossed out as suggested. Other systems are possible. It is possible TO thought of this.

Another thing about small teams. If one expects RU to be huge, EN moderate size, and DE and PO to be smallest, well some of these clever RU players might decide their chances are better playing PO. There could be an "reverse-mult" effect too.

Some people are just griefers and will play to sabotage. But they might be few. My plan is to play honestly to win, but not in a desperate need to do anything to win. Cheating in games isn't fun! Let the chips fall where they may. A casual player can invest just 100 Cry and maybe they will win. There's nothing really to lose here. It is just a chance to have some fun.  I'm looking forward to that fun.

(TO ibattles are more fun when you are playing for a goal, IMO. )

For example, there are 5000 participants in the Russian community and 1000 in the Polish. Every time, the Russian community only needs to send 10% of their players (i.e. 500) to use their alt accounts to play noob in the Polish community (there are still 4500 players in the Russian community), what would happen?

Wait for tomorrow --- more explanation on "War" will be added in Herald Issue #2.

That didn't help Team OK. Larger teams have the advantage.

Most think team RU will win, and many of them will go with Team RU, the ones who don't will chose another team, but I don't want to be on the same side as them. But I may not even participate.

It's like in regular battles, mostly noobs join the losing team.

Or they just need to kill the lone PL player in the battle a few more times. Just imagine 4 RU players in one team and 1 PL in the other team, what you think will happen?

No one is asking you to play for 48 hours straight. The event is based on K/D, so more kills does not necessarily mean a higher chance of victory. You could play for only a little and as long as you get a good K/D, you are contributing to your team's victory.

so a player with 1000/100 does not contribute more than a 200/20?  They both have a 10 ratio

It depends on how TO handles the numbers. My guess is the all the kills and all the deaths are just added up before dividing. If so that would mean your 1000/100 tanker hes 5 times the influence as your 200/20 tanker. But it is possible TO instead takes the k/d results (in your case 10, and 10) and averages them out.

The 1st method is more likely but we players do not know the nuts and bolts of this calculation.
