What are containers then? *Innocent expression*

Containers are different. You can never lose. You are guaranteed to get some item, but whether it's going to be a small or big/rare item is another question.

Same with events where you buy a paint to support a team (like the football events). You're basically just buying a paint for 1000 crystals, while the extra crystals you can get if your team wins is an additional bonus.

That's true. I guess you're always getting something worth the container or more no matter what the prize.

In the football events you did lose the paint though. So that actually was gambling (or betting, perhaps).

Buying those paints for supporting whatever team for World Cup or those clan starladder finals with Noobest and Scorpions are also gambling. But yeah I feel like if tanki implemented something like this, it would be extremely rigged.

In order for Tanki to open a casino, they would have to obtain a gambling license to remain within the the parameters of the law. Some sites operate a casino without a license, but they have to be absolutely transparent in the gambling and trade arena. They also risk the chance of being investigated and possibly shut down. Tanki could be closed down for operating a gambling site without a license (if they chose not to buy one) and allowing minors to participate.

Can you imagine a parent's outrage if they caught their minor child using their credit card to buy crystals for gambling? Tanki has already lost a large portion of their players and are trying to build that back up. Setting up a gambling room could ruin Tanki's very existence. If gambling was implemented, I would certainly quit. I want no part of it.

Maybe slightly in that sense but the risk is only 100 - 1000 crystals for a cool paint for a limited time. Unlike what was mentioned you can't lose much. If a gambling system was introduced you could lose hundreds of thousands.

It's not losing that matters, its the thrill of winning

Yea but if someone lost 100 000+ crystals in a bet you know where they'll complain...

Well its the risk they took. They should just accept it.

They should but many don't, not even some adults.

If you don't have the ability to say "Stop" then gambling can become very addictive. You bet some currency, get a few small wins and lose a few. On a bet, you may win a substantial amount to not only equal what you have lost, but a little bit more, too. Can you say "Stop" and walk away? Do you think that winfall is within reach?

Can you walk away when you're winning? Can you walk away when you're losing?

Do you understand randomness and the phrase "it's due to win"? This phrase is a fallacy.

Do you understand that the Law of Averages doesn't exit in gambling? It's all random. Averages don't apply, here.

Are you comfortable in living in a world of percentages? Are you willing to accept the outcome, even though it's not what you want nor expected?

Things to ponder before you lose your shirt, your wallet, your car, your house.

"What are you talking about? It's just a game. I'm not barking upon a gambling career. All I want is a casino room to bet on winning a few crystals so I can get that kit I've had my eye on." Fine, but what about the losing streaks where you can lose everything? Then what do you do? "Mom! Dad! Can I use your credit card to buy some crystals?" That's exactly what happens to the inexperienced gambler. He/She runs out of money. Do I accept my losses, admit defeat and walk away? Oh! There's an ATM. I'll just get a few dollars. Credit cards are the same as ATMs and banks. They are not limitless, they are not magic money trees. Funds will run out.

The question here, is: "How much am I willing to lose?
