very confusing,i'll never get it before the war begins.

I would like to have some instruction about what I need to do in that day or a remainder of some kind in everyday during war like missions.

Is the following...

"Important! If you don’t confirm your vote by making 200 kills, both your vote and the kills you make during the next phase will NOT be counted."

Connected to below in Battle Phase?

"K/D for the faction is calculated from the overall number of kills and deaths of all players for that faction, who completed and voted in Strategy phase and played during the 24 hours of the Battle phase."

So if we don't do 200 kills in the 24hr vote phase our kills won't count toward K/D for faction? <_<

Blech - this event is only for people playing many hours.

So if we do not complete 200 kills ,our vote will not be counted nor K/D ,but can we take part in the war still and get reward? Nice explanation but still little confused, seems to be a more than a rocket science or newton laws!

Seems like having to earn 200 kills is considered as the anti-mult feature of Tanki Wars. As if you don't get that amount of kills, your contribution doesn't count. Getting 200 kills is not that hard to do. Anyone could use any vaguely decent alt account in most DM battles to get 200 kills in an hour....or 50 kills each in 4 battles, It's really easy if that alt account happens to have tons of saved drugs. Once those 200 kills are done, that alt is then free to mult against a target community.

My recommendation.......if a player uses their alt account to mult a community D/L....or if they get a terrible DL that's in the bottom 20% of their community, increase the number of kills they have to get in the next voting round, so they have to get 300 kills to vote and be able to compete for the next map section. And if they do that, then mult again = increase it to 400...and so on.

Frankly, anyone committed enough to overcome this deserves to win.

BTW, being able to compete without wearing the community paint is excellent....some genius guy must have thought of that idea. Well done to him/her.

I am only allowed to play 1 hour per day, now and then. I cannot get 200 kills.

"What happens if I buy a faction paint, but don’t vote and make no kills?

You won’t contribute nor harm your faction, and what happens to prizes if your faction wins we will share in the next issue of the War Herald."

Devs have not indicated what you get if you buy winning paint but don't "contribute" during the actual game phases.

Exactly my doubt as well.

1st , Nicely explained.

However 1 question:

"To earn the resource you need to capture that type of region and hold it for 1 full turn."

1 full turn means strategy and destruction/breach phase or only one of each.

1 turn means 48 hours (comprised of 2 phases: strategy phase and battle phase).

When are the paints coming out?

Shortly before the event starts, closer to the end of February.

What will happen if a player does not vote, but plays in the battle phase.

Will he be given prizes, if the mission is completed?

Most likely not, but I'll forward your question for confirmation.

Good point about the 200 kills requirement. In order to mult a person has to be willing to play a onsiderable time to get 200 kills on one day. The the next day the same person has to be willing to "play" many hours while doing nothing in order to mult down the other team.

But none of this does any good unless that play runs a 2nd account playing just as much. The other account is teh one intended to win. So to mult you have to get 200+ kills on two accounts, then play them both for a considerable period the next day.  If you just mult ... you win nothing for your multing effort. You need the winner account too.

But a player doing this will still have two enemy teams they did not mult.  One of those teams might win thus rendering that mult time a complete waste.  Furthermore any time spent playing a mult means less time [;aying the main account that is supposed to win.  Since rewards are proportional to effort, anyone who mults will subtract from their winnings.

This system also stops someone from, say, running 4 accounts one on each team. They don't vote, they just play. And at the end of the war one account gets something for free, 100% chance.  But now that means 800 kills / day every other day to do this.

Yikes! Best to just play honestly and maybe your team wins. Now at least I see a rationale for the 200 kills.

Side point: My prediction for War #1 is one team will figure out how to organize for resources and go on to win in very few turns. Call it 12 days.

Last announcement you said middle of feb

Indeed, but that was an estimate and it has changed slightly. Until an actual date is announced, the start of the event is still prone to some change.

The best advice I can give you is to keep an eye on the news for a specific start date.

So the KD is only measured in Rio?

No, it's measured in all non-PRO battles on the second day of each turn.

Rio in this story is just a region on the special map that you can capture.

So the KD is only measured in Rio?

No.

It is not that hard. War will create a speacial map for use in War and only War. That War map has regions named after TO maps. That is their only connection. The War regions use TO map NAMES and nothing else. There is no connection between these names and where TO gameplay takes place.

1 turn in War takes 48 hours. It consists of two phases of 24 hours each.

During Phase 1 a player account must get 200+ kills to get credit for that turn. That account can also vote to decide strategy but it does no have to do so.

During Phase 2 the account plays TO in any non-Pro game they want. If they registered 200 kills in Phase 1 their Phase 2 k/d will apply to the War outcomes.

One turn ends and a new one begins with a new Phase 1. Everyone has to get a new batch of 200+ kills in order to lock in their efforts for the new turn.

so when the war is done can you still wear your factions paint if you lose the war?

No, you can't:

Will the faction paints remain after the War ends?
No. The winning faction will receive a unique paint, and it will remain until the next War, which we will talk about later.

But if I don't participate in war and I still wear the winner's paint will I still get prize?

The answer to that question will be given in the next issue of the War Herald.

So, with K.D as the way to win doesn't that mean that shafts will have a better advantage?

Seems that way.

Lots of camping in CTF & CP - your team might lose that battle but if you kill plenty of tanks and don't die often you contribute to the "War Effort" by killing lots of tanks. ;)
