Parkour Survival 2018

What does it matter if the recorder is in another team? If teams want to share their ideas, it should be their own choice. Not like it'll stop the spread of tricks if the recorder isn't from another team, doesn't depend on that whether teams share.

If a team member want to record but he won't be upside down he will show how his team is doing the trick ...will he even get reward ?

If a team member is recording, not upside down and not participating, he will not be counted for the challenge. If he already participated in the previous trick that does not matter and he will receive a prize. In case he didn't helped yet, he will still not receive a prize. Please keep in mind that members must participate in 3 challenges to be eligible for the paint.

so if we say that someone is in our team, in challenge 1, but we don’t need their help for any of the challenges, do they get anything. what if its challenge 2 and we only need 3 people, and the other 2 are off and they didn’t participate in challenge one but are part of the team, do they grt a prize?

This thing that u have to have a member paricipate in a trick 3 times to get the paint is just wierd, u cant always come up with 5 member tricks,, why is it not enough to just have him in the map? If it is a 4 member trick and the 5th member participated in the setup i would say that he has helper with the trick even tho he is not in the actual recording or if he is recording with fake spec

We hope to reveal it before the Final Challenge, so you know where all the pain goes to

Idk for others, but I am sure that not all are doing this for the paint only. There is fun in participating, and the glory of winning is usually worth it already, with a paint or without it.

Ignoring the fact that we are not best friends (to put it in a mild way), why are you complaining so much? As long as you were an organizer, everything was perfect, and now that you left, you are hating on everything. You had an opportunity to have the contest pretty much as you wanted to, and you gave up that chance, so just live with the fact that changes were, and are probably still going to be made...

I agree to this completely.

Ugh I wish swiftsmoky were moderator of PS many members wish that he was.

Sorry for being rude but I don't really understand why the PS rules are changing while the event is already during..

Most of these changes are made to improve the contest. As for swift, he said he left because of personal reasons. Edited by MSI

;) I was asked me for this specific challenge, with a condition that would otherwise violate the challenge rules.

I understand your frustration but some stuff had to change. Which changes in particular did you not like?

Is it just me, or are 75% of the current event organizers members or previous members of The Flying Parkourist? Isn't this ironic that it appears that certain people keep getting brought into event helper positions that are among-st friends of others so they have power to over rule any other judge that gets involved? Kinda like the Spectator admin is another example of a previous TFP member? I bit rigged from an outsiders perspective just like MOP was...Rules would start changing for no reason and other problems would start to rise.

What I suggest in future parkour contests is that maybe judges are hand picked from several clubs so it now becomes fair in judgement. This way things like bending the rules to keep certain players in while disqualifying others for the same reasons will not happen any longer. This also prevents too much power or influince coming from one point of view, of friends that were previously all in or still in TFP which in my opinion is a bit biased and unfair.

Every parkour related contest keeps on becoming unfair, starting since MoP 2017 when the rules were changed AFTER the contest had ended. -_-

This is possibly due to concentration of power among a few friends... Either they should clearly mention the rules at the starting or make no changes after it is announced publicaly.

The changes no one likes are the ones made to fit what the organizers thought were the rules but never were. My team had to redo a challenge from fault that wasn't ours but the contest's staff who did not understand their own rules and now, during the contest, decided to change it. It's nothing that important/necessary to know who the recorder is. You may not want teams sharing their ideas with each other but teams would share their ideas without having recorded each other anyway... The new rules are just dumb and ruin the fun for participants.

There wouldn't be any point, its not like the judges are deciding which entry will win. All that happens is when an entry comes in it goes through a checklist to make sure it meets the rules and if every box is checked, it passes.

We don't have enough entries to warrant 'several' judges. During the first challenge 90% of the entries were processed by me and Swift. With the next challenges having less survivors one or two people is enough.

This way things like bending the rules to keep certain players in while disqualifying others for the same reasons will not happen any longer.

Do you have an example of where this has happened?

This is the flow:

Challenge #1 : Gets Every One Registered

Challenge #2 : Blocks Garbage entry/ team( by that i mean, newbies at parkour get stuck and dont proceed further, Pros get to go)

Challenge #3 : Blocks More Garbage From the Pros

Challenge #4 : Warms Up Every One

Challenge #5 : Only Best of  the Best Gets to go

I got stuck at Challenge 2, do not ask why xD

Edit: i just realized something, i should not just randomly accept Guys in the team xD Must see first if they got good M3s/m2s'/activity

Ill remember that when i register again in 2019 xD

We aren't really bothered if a team shares ideas voluntarily. The problem is when one spectator records for a team then sends the idea to another team who will use it without permission.

Do you have an example of where this has happened?

Really?? This says enough that these organisers have 0.00% experience of parkour.

This goes back to MOP 2016 even when there was hidden messages of proof of this type of thing going on and Cedric was aware of it which is prolly why he came to us asking for a new parkour contest idea back then....2017 nives is well aware of it since we had discussions in pm regarding it and I don't thing it needs to go public, but lets just say teams were being treated differently then others for doing the same thing and you can go into the archives to see all the disputes going on there....and now with this contest...its not just about judging the entrees...its the back bone behind admins making changes or disqualifying teams for certain reasons or making changes in middle of the contest regarding rules and having too much influince from one point of view in these changes or decisions

Skeletor and Torben have been in TFP and have won multiple parkour contests. They also have a ton of experience from helping out in events.

We also have other members of the team from GTT.

It's only me who doesn't have much experience in parkour, but I don't really need it since all I have to do is announce stuff and process entries through a standard checklist.

Swift, who was the most experienced of us left of his own choice. What do you want us to do? Cancel the contest because we have 'no experience'.

I don't really care what happened in MoP 2016, it is not my concern. I have nothing to do with MoP.

Until you can give me an example of actual bias or corruption in THIS contest. I see no point in continuing this any further, I've dealt with enough people screaming 'YOU'RE A BIASED MOD' blah blah blah. Every single one is just interested in personal gain or provides no proof.
