Hello Tanki online,

I have an idea that you make like,there are more than half (25%)of players who do not know about bans.Because there are also the people who do not understand the words in tanki rules website.Thus,they cannot understand the bans.Therefore you should make some videos that how and when a ban occurs.Then the people would understand the ban caused on their accounts.This will also reduce the quarrel between Tanki help center and players.

Hi, videos are not a bad idea but the fact is that most bans depend on situation, someone's intent, the overall context, ban history... so we do not have that many default situations that could be presented easily. What we do in order to keep players informed is to patrol channels each day and to bluntly tell players what is not allowed. You can easily see, for example, texts like this:

That way it's pretty clear what can be a bannable offence and what we strongly advise players not to do. Along with each message is a link to the Rules so no one can say they cannot easily access and read them.

 

 

Furthermore, newspaper reporters made a number of interviews and articles throughout the years about all moderation groups, in which it's explained more than once all about our work, how bans are given and what are the most popular misconceptions, which were then addressed and clarified. The last of such interviews regarding chat moderation can be found here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=359359 If that is not a text which will help players to understand chat bans, I don't know what is :)

Also, Tanki help center has nothing to do with bans so there's no point contacting them. Only administrators of each moderation group (chat, battle and forum) are in charge of and dealing with bans given by their moderators so if you have any more questions about them, it's better to contact those administrators personally. For any issue with chat bans please do not hesitate to contact my colleague or me via forum pm, we'll sort them out.
