propass & maps

according to me 7 out of 10 players dont have propass, if i make pro battle for map gravity no one will join, if i want to play gravity map in non-pro battle its not there, if you want make another pass for creating non pro battle i will buy it, but give me a solution for this

There's a reason why standard battles cannot be created. If they could, then we would have exactly the same thing that PRO battles experience now - there would be a bunch of identical maps that players always play (Polygon CP), and a bunch of empty maps because everyone wants to play their own thing with their own preferred settings and expects others to join. It's just not going to work out, so unfortunately the struggle to get players to join your battle will always be present if you create a game with uncommon settings or on a map that's rarely played.

Well, I think we have 2 very fair and valid arguments. We can think of the solution in economics sort of way.

 

1: Players only want to play maps they want. If you let them play whatever maps they want, this is basically capitalism. Battle self-regulates for what players want. This ends up making some maps (Polygon CP, Rio CTF) own sort of a monopoly on the battle list.

 

2: The devs control what maps the players have to play (socialism). If you control the maps they play, then all maps could potentially get some love. However, this is not 100% socialist as players do have some say into what battles they want to enter, which makes this system fail to work because, at the end of the day, we are still playing a select few maps. 

 

I think we should go back to system 1 where the battle-list self-regulates for what we want, because the second system does not work. However, in order to reduce the "monopolies" some battles have, here are some ideas to fix it:

 

1. Create a limit to how many times a map will be played in

2. Make maps no-one plays in more enjoyable.

3. Create bonus rewards in battle fund in forgotten maps only. 

4. Increase gold box rate in forgotten maps only.
