How many M3 Turrets/Hulls is enough?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I am a noob Field Marshal and I seek advice because I am clueless on how the game economy works now (I took a long break from Tanki and I came back and I saw Striker, Magnum, and all the m3s unlocked at Marshal for the first time).

I have plans on what to buy...

I just want to know when I should start focusing on upgrading for an m4 combo.

And how many m3 turrets/hulls do I really need. Feel free to look at my profile to see what I have.

One long range, medium range, and short range turret. Optimally Railgun, Twins, and Isida.

One fast, medium, and heavy hull. Optimally Wasp, Viking, and Titan.

It's better than just having one combo and being bored to death, and it's also a little bit more sustainable than buying every single item in the game. If you really want to try every combo, make more accounts specifically for them. ;)

(But don't listen to me because if you look at my profile I bought way too much junk I never use)

it is impossible to have all M4s without buying crystals. i am a non buyer so I have to spend crystals smartly, if you are not a buyer and you try to buy every M4 u will be broke.

Im sure there are a few dedicated people with a full m4 garage that havent bought.

on my main legend rank, new weapon are 1 shot kill light hull too often,

get at least medium hull, and best one medium and one heavy hull (titan),

any gun that can kill close and medium distance are good enough, and mu to m4. protection module are more tough to choose, as it is never enough to cover yourself.

THIS ^

3 hulls and 3 turrets (short/medium/long range), and protection modules that cover every turret at least once.

Upgrading one pair (hull/turret) 5-10 pts out of 20 before buying next combo is also advisable.

My view is similar, though I think it's better to start of with just a medium hull. A medium hull is versatile enough to do well in just about any map AND with just about any turret. I agree with getting a long, medium and short range turret. That way you can more easily adapt to the situation and you'll have more fun changing your playing style a bit. Railgun, twins and isida are good choices, but firebird is definitely a worthy replacement for isida. Ricochet might not be as effective as twins, but it's definitely a lot of fun. Once you have your 3 turrets and one hull, start micro-upgrading them, start looking for a few triple modules against the turrets you face the most and start saving up for a second hull (either light or heavy depending on your preference).

@@sensei_tanker, seems like you are already on the right track with a turret in each category and a medium hull..;p

Since you are a non-buyer,You just need one turret and hull which has carried you till this rank

and for M4 start , you must be ready with one from legend ranks
