Do not worry! If you have made 200 kills and voted, your turn was completed and you WILL get 3 containers after the event.

Faction paints are already in the Garage, and this means the War is almost here!

Purchase one of the faction paints, log into the event site after server restart on February 22nd and jump into battles!

NOTE: the War site will go live tomorrow, 02:00 UTC February 22nd, and you will find it >>here<<.

Here’s a quick recap how to participate in the event:

Purchase a faction paint in the Garage.
Log into the event site. You can use the login and password from your account in Tanki Online or using your Facebook account, if your game account is attached to it.
Vote for 2 territories to attack and for 1 territory to defend on the site for the War.
Make 200 kills or more in standard, non-PRO battles within 24 hours on any map, in any mode, using any equipment.
On the next day play in standard, non-PRO battles, destroy as many enemy tanks as possible and avoid destruction.
Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 until the War is over.

We remind you, that the War is a global event in which 4 regions of the game -- the English, the German, the Polish and the Russian communities -- battle for supremacy on the map of a fictional world and collect resources to launch a Nuclear Rocket, located at the center of the map. Playing the War will earn you lots of containers, and if your faction wins -- a unique animated paint, which will remain in Garages of all participants of the winning faction that made 5 turns or more until the next War.

The War is played in a turn-based format, where each turn lasts for 48 hours and consists of 2 phases - Strategy phase and Battle phase. To participate in the War, you need to buy a faction paint in the Garage for 100 crystals. The event will take place part on the special site for the War, which will be launched February 22nd, and to log into the site you can use your TO login and password.

Strategy phase:

Lasts for the first 24 hours of the turn;
During Strategy phase, you need to vote for 2 territories to attack and for 1 territory to defend on the event site;
You need to confirm your vote by making 200 kills or more in the game in standard, non-PRO battles (either before or after voting, but only during the Strategy phase);
If you don’t make 200 kills during Strategy phase, your vote and K/D will not be counted in the Battle phase of that turn.

Battle phase:

Lasts for the second part of the turn -- also 24 hours;
During the Battle phase factions compete over territories that were voted by the players during the Strategy phase;
Depending on the choice your faction made, you will need to make enough kills together as a faction and/or maintain a high K/D, so you can capture a new territory or defend your own against invasion.

There are special territories with Survey Data Centers and Rocket Fuel Factories. If you capture such territories, they will begin to earn your faction respective resources -- Survey Data and Rocket Fuel. Also, each turn all factions earn 1 point of both resources from their Capitals. The income from the identical regions is summarized.

To win the War, you need to complete ALL 3 goals:

Collect 10 points of each resource;
Capture the central region with the Nuclear Rocket;
Hold the territory with the Rocket for 1 full turn.

Prizes (for each participant):

3 containers for each completed turn;
10 or 20 containers for capturing a bonus territory (you need to vote and confirm your vote during the Strategy phase);
For winners in the War -- additionally 3 containers for each completed turn (but no more than 100), unique animated paint and a chance to win a Dream Tank in a special giveaway (you need to complete 5 turns or more to be eligible).

Completed turn is a turn, during which you voted on the event site and made 200 kills or more in regular, non-PRO battles during 24 hours of the Strategy phase.

You can skip turns. You will be guaranteed to receive prizes for all completed turns, even if they were completed not after each other. But if your faction wins, additional prizes for winners will be delivered only if you completed 5 turns or more total during the War.

And remember: the more turns you complete, the more kills you make, the bigger is your final prize. War ahead, tankers!

Event Rules:

Only players of the rank Master-Sergeant and higher can participate in the War.
To participate in the War you need to buy a faction paint in the Garage. You do NOT need to play while wearing the paint for your kills to count.
After the War ends faction paints will be removed.
To win as many prizes as possible, you need to participate in the War by voting and completing every turn.
Each turns lasts for 48 hours and consists of 2 phases -- Strategy phase and Battle phase.
Each phase lasts for 24 hours and begins and ends with server restarts (from 02:00 UTC to 02:00 UTC of the next day), without pauses.
Strategy phase is needed to vote for territories and to complete your turn, and Battle phase -- to battle for the chosen territories.
Voting takes place on the War site each turn. During voting, you need to choose territories on a map of a fictional world to be attacked and defended. The target regions must be connect to already conquered by your faction territories.
Regions on the global map are named after maps in Tanki Online so it's easier to coordinate, you do NOT need to play only on those maps for your kills to count.
To confirm your vote and complete the turn, you need to make 200 kills or more in the game before the Strategy phase ends, or your vote and turn will not be counted.
In Battle phase, each faction attacks 2 territories that received the most votes during the Strategy phase. The same is applied to 1 territory for defense.
To capture a neutral or undefended territory your faction needs to make enough kills and the number of kills depends on your faction activity during the Strategy phase.
To capture a defended territory or a territory under attack of several factions, your faction needs to maintain the highest K/D among all sides of the conflict.
K/D of a faction is calculated based on the kills and deaths of all eligible players of that faction that completed their turns during the Strategy phase, and is calculated over 24 hours of the Battle phase.
Kills and K/D calculation in both phases need to be done in regular, non-PRO battles. Map, mode and equipment are chosen by the player.
The global goal for each faction -- to collect 10 points of each resource (Survey Data and Rocket Fuel), capture the central region with the Rocket and hold it for 1 full turn.
Resources are earned by faction Capitals and regions with Survey Data Centers and Rocket Fuel factories. Capturing them is your faction’s highest priority. To earn the resource, you need to capture the region with it and hold the region for 1 full turn.
You can capture the region with the Nuclear Rocket before collecting 10 points of both resources, but to win you need to hold the Rocket territory for 1 full turn after collecting enough Survey Data and Rocket Fuel by your faction.
The War will start with the server restart 02:00 UTC on on February 22nd and is expected to continue for around 3 weeks.
The prizes for participating in the even and winning in the event will be delivered within 1 calendar week after the War ends.
Participating in the War is possible only by accepting the Game Rules (http://tankionline.com/en/rules/) and EULA (http://tankionline.com/en/eula/)
The event is designed only as an entertaining fictional activity and has no connection to real names, people, organizations and events in the world. Any similarities are coincidental. The event does not, in any way, provoke or encourage real life violence, extremism or violation of the international law. Times and dates

1. When will the War begin?
On the 22nd of February, after the server restart at 2:00 UTC!

2. When will the paints be available for purchase? How much will they cost?
All 4 regional paints will appear in the Garage on the 19th of February after the server restart at 2:00 UTC. They will cost 100 crystals each.

3. How long will the War go on?
It will depend on how fast the factions will collect resources and how fast they reach the Nuclear Rocket, and it’s not possible to give a specific duration. We predict the event will be active for close to 3 weeks.

4. When will the phases of each turn begin and end in real life?
Each phase lasts for 24 hours and begins with the server restart of that day at 02:00 UTC.

5. Are there breaks or pauses between the turns?
There are no breaks in War.

At the start

6. Is there a rank restriction for participating in the War?
Only players who reached the rank of Master Sergeant and above can participate.

7. Which paints will I need to buy?
Specially for the event we’ve made 4 unique paints, which symbolize one of the factions of the European regions of Tanki Online. You have to buy one of the paints to participate.

8. Can I buy all or several faction paints at the same time?
No. After purchasing 1 faction paint, the rest will be removed from the Garage.

9. Can I buy factions paints that are not my region?
Yes, you can.

10. Where can I find the special site for the event?
You can find the special site here: https://war.tankionline.com/en/

11. Do I need to join the War event from the start or can I join after it has begun?
You can buy faction paints and participate at any point while the event is live.

12. Where do the factions start on the global map?
Each faction starts from the location, where its Capital is based.

Playing/Participating

13. Which modes will count for the War?
You can play any mode to count the kills for the War, but only in regular, non-PRO battles.

14. Do I need to make kills and maintain high K/D on some specific maps in Tanki?
No. For your kills to count, you can play on any map in regular, non-PRO battles, using any equipment. The regions on the global map are named after maps only for convenience, you DON’T need to play on Kungur to vote for it.

15. Which in-game stats will be counted towards completing objectives during the Battle phase?
Kills and deaths made in regular, non-PRO battles during the 24-hours period of the Battle phase (second part of the turn) will be counted.

16. Will my kills be counted if I leave a battle before it ends?
Yes.

17. Will the team with the most players win?
No. To win in the War, you need to maintain a high K/D ratio and strategically choose which territories to capture and defend, and not only make enough kills, so the chances are equal.

18. Do I have to participate in each turn of the War?
Not necessarily. Players can complete any number of turns, and you can skip turns, but remember that the size of your prize depends on the number of completed turns.

19. How to know if I completed the kills goal?
On the special site there won’t be a specific number of kills counter, like X/200, but you will be able to check if you have made enough kills or not. During Battle phase, the global goal for kills is given to the whole faction, and you will see a special indicator on the site.

20. What happens, if you vote during the Strategy phase, but don’t make 200 kills in the same day?
Your vote and battle results will not be counted in the Battle phase.

21. Do I need to make 200 kills before or after the voting?
Doesn’t matter, as long as 200 kills are made same day until the Strategy phase ends.

22. Will tank kills count if they are not in faction paints?
Yes, your own gear and the gear of your enemy do not affect the kills.

23. What will happen, if I destroy tanks of my own faction?
Your kills will count regardless of which players you destroy. Both your kills and the deaths of your teammates will be counted in the overall statistics in Battle Phase.

24. What happens to the faction that loses its Capital?
It will continue to play in the War, but the resources from the Capital will now go to the enemy faction that captured it.

25. Can it happen, that a faction will lose all of its territories, including the Capital?
Yes, it might happen, and the faction will be excluded from the rest of the War.

26. Do we have to defend our Capitals like regular territories?
Yes, you need to protect your Capital the same way as any conquered territory.

Rewards

27. What are the rewards?
Among the rewards are containers for each turn you complete and a special, unique animated paint for the winners of the War. The paint will be rewarded to all participants of the winning faction until the next War.

28. Does the size of rewards depend on your contribution to the faction?
The more turns you complete the bigger will be the final prize.

29. Will there be rewards for players of the factions that lost in the War?
Each player will receive the prizes for each special territories that was captured and also for each completed turn.

30. What are these special territories? Which rewards will be given for capturing them? When will I receive them?
Some territories on the global map have a one-time bonus for the faction that captures it first. The reward for capturing special territories is a bigger amount of containers. The rewards will be given out after the War has ended.

31. How does it look? The brand-new animated paint made specially and only for the winners of the new global event the War?
Our artists are still working on the paint, and it takes so long to finish that we hope you will be very pleased with the final result, which we will share as soon as it's ready.

Other

32. Why only the EN, DE, PL and RU regions are participating in the War? Why not add all regions and all countries to the event?
In the European battle cluster of Tanki Online there are only 4 regions — the English, the German, the Polish and the Russian communities, meaning only these 4 regions are playing on the same servers. The global faction lines are drawn and transferred to the event without any political meaning, for the event to work right now we can run it only in 1 battle cluster and among already existing localisations.

33. Can I participate in the War from multiple accounts?
Yes.

34. How to log in to the special site for the War, if I don’t have the password for my account (for example, I play on Facebook or on Steam)?
If you’re playing Tanki on Facebook, you will be able to log in using Facebook, and for Steam and other partner services please contact the support to attach email and set password.

35. Will the faction paints remain after the War ends?
No. The winning faction will receive a unique paint, and it will remain until the next War, which we will talk about later.

36. What happens if I buy a faction paint, but don’t vote and make no kills?
You won’t contribute nor harm your faction, and you will not receive any rewards.

This is the official EN team strategy feed. The key to winning Tanki Online War is to have a good plan and, more importantly, to make the plan work by smart votes during each turn.

Your EN War Council have developed a plan. If you follow it, we guarantee every player who plays the first 5 turns of the War will earn - at least - 45 Containers at the end of the war. But you have to follow the official EN plan for that to happen.

not sure if others have been seeing this in battles yet but what i'm finding in DM battles are more players not killing players who are wearing there team colours , for example Russians players not killing Russians players with the Russian paints . which I can see this happening more in battles , which leads less kills on players who are just trying to play war battle . and the ones not choosing to battle and using any old paints will be the ones centered out in battles and get killed more .

this is the down side to what I see will be happening .

Turns can be skipped, and if you complete 5 turns in total and your faction wins the event, you will get all of your prizes doubled.
