I heard they are planning to add sounds in the lobby in the future. Does it include the following?

 

When someone messages you (publicly or privately) on the Communicator chat channel, it will make a notification sound. 

That would be helpful since when I'm on the lobby I don't look at the chat 24/7, I usually check the forum or fb or am doing something else in the meanwhile, etc.

And ofc the possibility to toggle it off in the settings, that would be helpful, for example, for chat moderators since I bet they don't want to be hearing that notification sound 24/7. :P

The chat sounds are planned, but what makes into the first update with new sounds is currently being discussed :)

without judging which updates are "good" or "bad" right here, I can at least be sure that Tanki Online is still alive as long I can come back to this place and read new account's names which sound like a request for return of the old Railgun ;)
