Hello once again! I'm back with results of my riddles contest - What am I? I might the riddles easier in the future since no one was able to get all five of them right. Lets see the correct answers!

 

 

1st riddle

I originate from Scandinavia, but I was never there. I was much much higher than others in my era, but now I am the shortest of all. What am I?

Answer: Viking

 

2nd riddle

I have the power to give and I have the power to take. Watch out if you’re my enemy, I will exhaust the life out of you. What am I?

Answer: Isida

 

3rd riddle

In the woods is where I can be found, but you can also see me decorating your friend’s tank. What am I?

Answer: Lumberjack

 

4th riddle

I like to stay under the sun somewhere near the sea. On the trees is where my home would be. What am I?

Answer: Orange

 

5th riddle

Gold often shades me, but I still manage to stun people with my green shades. What am I?

Answer: Emerald

5 - Thunder (Thunder usually comes with gold lightning, but it can also "stun" (destroy) with green shades (a tank))

3 was incredibly vague - as it turns out, a lot of paint names are things in a forest. My answer was moss, the garage description of which is "Blend in with the forest environment", which I would say makes it absolutely applicable.

 

4 Lime would also work, being citrus it is basically the same thing.

Edit: Also, oranges don't have to be grown by the sea...

 

As for 5, I totally disagree with emerald. I think repair kit is a much better answer. "Gold often shades me" implies a gold box, yet the green shades combined with the fact that people play "catch the repair kit"? It just seems more fitting to me.

 

"Gold often shades me" makes less sense considering (I think) emerald is worth more than gold...

and shouldnt raiden be more appopirate for the last one? raiden is a lightning god, lightning is gold and it stuns... but its green because in the game raiden kit is in a green coloured paint

I missed Orange and said Falcon, which I thought fit better.

 

I also missed Lumberjack and said Cedar, which also fits.

 

But I am very happy with my win.

So after more than 3 weeks till I said I wanted to complain about the answers to this contest, and literally no reply from Nyx (or other reporters)?

 

Kinda disappointing. At least when Hexed had his biggest quiz 2 prize issues, he stuck around in the topic to answer queries.
