Leaving For Good; Retirement from AWS Team

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. As most of you know, my real life schedule has overpowered my Tanki prowess for the past few weeks. I am sad to announce that I am retiring from the Amateur Helpers team. Don't worry, you'll still read from me in the Tanki Newspaper, but being an AWS Helper deserves so much more time and effort than I am giving it. Like most helpers who have university/jobs to attend to, time management is incredibly difficult, and enormously different from the time spent in school.

It was a good three months of dictatorship servitude, I got to meet amazing new people, and I was introduced to some magnificent writers and individuals who I would love to see wearing the mantle of Multhood one day. I am honored to have worked for you, and although my time here was brief, it cannot be compared to the things I've learnt from this amazing experience. My message to everyone out there, never be afraid. People will criticize you, discourage you from writing, they'll even pose obstacles to prevent you from achieving success, but you must push on. We must all focus on the big picture here, does one write only to seek fame and recognition, or to reach out to a people thousands of miles away?

This is Destrod signing out, long live the Flexolution.

PS: I'll get the prizes sorted out for the tournament before leaving!

This is correct. The AWS is very time consuming and deserves a lot of time. I'm sure someone will follow in your foot steps. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to this project, you will be missed greatly. You deserve your time and have earned our respect.

Question: Does this mean the tournament is over?

See you buddy, thanks for putting as much effort into this section as you could have. It's really thrived since the last time I posted - it's great to see so many new highly talented writers here.

Chill guys he's just leaving this section lol, not the TO forum. Destrod isn't going to die, he's just moving on from AWC into other things. Like IRL.

I applaud you for your years of service and achievement. My heartiest congratulations and best wishes for your retirement. I will always remember the first day we met. Your way of making me feel part of the team made a lasting impression on a nervous, inexperienced graduate. I continue to benefit from your personal wisdom and engineering expertise, and hope you will stay in touch and join us for occasional social events. Have a wonderful retirement! Congratulations on the happy day of your retirement! After these many years of working together, I will need to adjust to the idea that you are no longer in the next office. I have thoroughly enjoyed our association. I will always remember our trip. I was amazed at the ease with which you conducted your presentations, undaunted by the skeptical comments. I have tried to pattern my own presentations after what I have seen you do so successfully. I hope I can do your reputation justice! Again, congratulations on a well-deserved retirement. Few have worked as hard as you have. I hope you will enjoy directing your energies into your other special interests. I just heard about your retirement plans. It sure will be dull around this greenhouse without you. You know, of course, that you are our source of community information. After landscaping more than half the yards, you seem to know everyone and everything. We will miss you. Now you can hop in that motor home and head for Miami, but I know you'll be back. A man with a thumb as green as yours can't leave it stuck in that lifeless, Floridian sand for long. Come by and see my gorgeous chrysanthemums when you get home. Best wishes. surely you're much too young to retire! You were my first client, and we've experienced the ups and downs of the market together, but more ups than downs, I believe. Best wishes for your retirement. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement. As one of our most faithful employees, you'll be greatly missed. You were always so willing to pitch in on any project, and you have always brightened up the whole office. We already feel as if a part of us is missing. Don't be a stranger!
