Math

This topic is to discuss math, and really anything about it. I suppose it can serve as a place for non-PHD people like myself, to ask questions about maths such as "what is the proof for e^pi(i) = -1?". This is also a club for people who like Maths. If you wish to join our club, please post so and you shall be made a member of the club. Please refrain from randomly asking questions involving lengthy arithmetic. Those tasks are best left to calculators.

That being said, would anyone care to explain the concept of bearing and how to determine bearing? I'm quite stuck at that.

Thnx god, i graduated from school last year :P

I think that creating a maths related topic on a game forum is the first sin of madness. I say so cos it means that you think about maths a lot.

Yes, indeed. I have seen some wonderful artworks on Desmos.

i will come prepared with 2 episodes of rick and morty

I'd imagine you'll learn more profanity than maths.

Troll, care to explain bearings? I'm hopelessly stuck. I have all my functions alright (well at least for the level I'm supposed to be at) but bearings is making every question I do wrong.

Math is much more important than you think, for instance, if you think of yourself being a game creator.

All those things you learn you think won't be needed anymore in your life are just there to train you to learn something you are or are not interested in and to improve your memory.

I am good at maths, but not as well in some other subjects.

Thanks for that! Did some more problems, and happy to say I'm much better at bearings.

It's like I am seeing myself.

I agree, I love maths more than anything else and for some reason, I don't do as well on other subjects. Maths is universally applicable; There's no place where maths isn't present or can't be made to exist.
