Did you know that the current number of moons of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are respectively: 22-2, 92-2, 82-2, 52+2, and 42-2?

No! Thank you for sharing that!

My state test is tomorrow:(

Best of luck!

Good luck amigo

I'm finally doing a new unit in alegbra and that is mainly on correlations, line of best fit and stuff like that? It looks easy doesn't it?

Hahaha, that's okay I say.  Just as long asyou don't do box plots.  Day 2 of 5: MC CNP done

What makes box plots hard? I'm doing scatter plots

Box plots are just weird to plot, but you can get the hang of it easy.  Part 3 of 5 done, Part 2 results: 26/28.

"No, please not the Maths!" ~everytime I see this topic.

But I actually love Maths, not when it comes to doing Maths in a given time.

But I actually love Maths

There!

Although do you mean you don't like doing Math at certain times?

Haha, nice rewording to my post!  :P But wrote that to show the fact that comes up in every Math haters mind.

I actually love Maths that's why I'm here in this topic but what I meant is that sometimes I don't like doing Maths, for example when your teacher says you to complete 20 questions in a very short period of time, etc, but that doesn't mean I hate Maths itself...  :P

No worries! I suppose that's kinda true. I do get your feeling though. Sometimes, you just don't feel like doing Math, even if you love it to no extent.

What are differential equations?

Humm a differential equation isn't like an equation that we don't know about the functions... like it comes in the form of a relation between these unknown functions and their successive derivatives. It's like a special case of functional equation...

Ah I see. Not so sure about it, but I'll try as best I can to learn it soon enough. Thanks for answering!

Er.... you mean something like dy/dx= something?

To be honest, I have no idea what they are. I just heard it and was curious to know.

Can someone post Or PM me the Math behind the "Question of the week"  in V-LOG episode 213.  I already submitted my answer but not really sure. Please try to be descriptive so I can learn and apply it to future questions. Thanks.

Here is the link to the question.

Since it's the latest v-log and the winners are not yet announced, I'm not sure if I can really tell you about it, but I guess I can at least explain the concept to you. I think it's a really simple Maths, all you have to add to is to find the HP of the Juggernaut & the Damage One (1) Mine can deal & divide them to find the number of Mines.

That's actually a much simpler approach than I imagined. I thought it'd involve a similar but reversed mechanism (finding the total energy released by the mines on the juggernaut through using parkour mode to approximate its vertical displacement assuming acceleration to be gravity with no air resistance and then determining the kinetic energy per mine through experimentation and then dividing the former number by the latter for the number of mines.

I suppose I'll be enlightened next year as I am taking AP Physics

Good for you! I probably messed up in part of my explanation to be honest.
