I seriously think that Juggernaut is the April fools joke for this year, if it's not, Well I'd be extremely surprised .also if i t is real. I think it'd be better to have the Jug be it's own team and have everyone else on a different team to destroy it

It makes sense in a way that Tanki only counts the kills and deaths of each participant, to then pool all those among factions to then come up with the Faction K/D.

 

Well, we were misled by poor communication from devs.

I think if tanki did average Kd it'd been better, or they should've used Mean deviation and variance just like it is in stastistics.

I think Tanki just counts your kills and your deaths for the day, and then it pools those numbers with the rest of your team mates to come up with your Faction's K/D.

 

We were lead to believe otherwise.

 

That also could mean that multing is very effective.

 

And there are more questions, about the Kill Quota in Battle Phase (the green bars)

 

Maye one day we'll know the truth.

This was in reference to some confusion about who can affect your battle contributions toward faction K/D if you are an active participant.

 

I, along with some others were unclear - but - apparently every player in a battle affects your contribution if you are a participant,

So, even a player not "participating" can give you a death in the WAR game.  Just like if you kill a non-participant that counts as a kill.

It's not just participant vs participant.

OMG im so in love with the Juggernaut already !  :wub: 

 

but i see that it have a LOT of potentianl that it haven't been explored yet.  ;) 

 

few ideas to start with:

 

add more combos for the JAGI, few examples  here: 

 

- Two railguns (shoot sumiltaniously) and Twins 

- Two Rails & twins (with both alterations added on the same time, i call it MegaTwins).

- MegaTwins and smoky with a dammage of a Magnum !

- One magnum with a shooting speed of a M3 Smoky.

-two thunders (shoot sumiltaniously) and 1 fire.

- vulcan that never overheat and a Megatwins.

 

etc...

 

and finally i hope they change the name to something shorther, i'm just gonna call it Jagi from now on, like Mammy  for Mamouth :lol:

That was never the intention. Nowhere did it say only killing participants counted. It simply said kills and deaths in non-PRO battles counted.

I think you're overestimating how advanced the system is that keeps track of the kills..;p

CooperO, this is a huge revelation, I think it deserves to become a topic in News ans Announcements. More people need to know about this.

 


 

And non participating tanks wearing faction paints is still a big issue.

 

All EN has to do is say kill RU tanks and they will find them everywhere, participants and non participants.

 

While RU players have to guess is that RU tank participating or not.

Would really love to give this new mode a spin once its released! Sounds really fun by the looks of it.

Agree - Kudos to Alterniva for continuing to add innovative features like this to the game. Makes me feel like there is a future. Unlike the doom and gloom of a year or so ago.

I guess this new format is a version of King of the Mountain. First reaction is 'lukewarm'.

 

I would gladly trade the development effort spent on this thing had been spent on balancing Magnum and Twins, and on finally giving some turrets the alterations they need.

I do not understand why we need three new modes developed in the space of less than a year. There is an unfinished matchmaking system, clan system, plenty of balance improvements to be made, glitches and bugs that need to be fixed, all promised after HTML5 which is still a work in progress. Yet somehow gimmicky new modes take priority over everything that's actually important to the game? They should come after the game is in a stable, playable state.

 

At least the new turret has nifty animations, which we might see in 100 years later on existing turrets.

The player who has the juggernaut-can he use supplies?

Because he may be a bit too OP with supplies.....

That is the entire point of the mode. You do not have to play it if you do not want to.

Well I was sure about the second part, because I was in a doubt how tanki would differentiate between killing those who voted to killing those who did not.

But man self destruct counts?

Really?

Why?

That's insane, its like inviting players to mult like hell, in a battle of 15 mins, each self destruct takes 5 secs, and lets say respawn takes 5 secs, so out of 900 seconds, you have 450 seconds to self destruct, divide it by 5,

and you destructed 90 times.

No wonder,  it explains the decrease in Ru's KD to 0.83.

The devs should have seen this.

well the Illuminati tank and hull look funny.. the hull reminds me of a mammoth pancake and the turret is twins telling a lie ..with its guns stretched out so long ..

 

interesting v-log

 

for the shooting this would work for players used to rail / shaft and striker . being like godmode would be fun driving around . but this set up is not for me . seeing I only like Ricochet ..

 

still holding my breath waiting for X-T ricochet ??????  Oh when will it every happen ///

I prepared this to help some of my team mates understand that killing team mates is not that good for K/D or Faction K/D, and because I'm seem some misinformation, (do you want to lie to others for containers?). And I want to share it with you just because...

 

====================

 

Killing your faction friends is not that good, example:

 

You faction starts with 2 kills and 4 deaths = Faction K/D 0.5

 

Option A

 

1. You kill your team mate. now your faction has 3 kills and 5 deaths = Faction K/D 0.6 (going up)

2. You kill your team mate again, your faction has 4 kills and 6 deaths = Faction K/D 0.66 (going up)

As you see, doing these you'll get closer to a K/D of 1.0, but you'll never get to 1,0.

Now it you want to get to 1.0 you'll need to kill 2 tanks from enemy faction, for 6 kills  and 6 deaths

If you then want to go up from 1.0 and you kill another tank from an enemy faction you'll have 7 kills and 6 deaths. (K/D = 1.16) NOT BAD

 

Option B

 

1. You kill a tank from an enemy faction, now your team has 3 kills and 4 deaths = Faction K/D 0.75

2. You kill another tank from an enemy faction, your team has 4 kills and 4 deaths = Faction K/D 1.0 

 

But with this option you already have 1.0

And if you kill another tank from an enemy faction, you'll have 5 kills and 4 deaths (K/D 1.25) BETTER

 

As you see, killing team mates is not that good, unless you're also killing a bunch more of enemy tanks from the other faction. And Tanki is not careful with the information they provide.

Yes the video was about a new mode.

 

Yes Cooper confirmed that self desrtucing is counted as death in war, atleast in this edition.
