washing machine whirlpool error 404.

As, normal day of washer, it started like around 16-17 AM. And then my washer comes to stop, and then, it passes

stop witch, it should be end of wash, but my washer decided go forward to annother stop. And i thinking, it's wierd.

my washer should stop. And then i afraid that highest water level will come out of washer any minute moment now,

and then 5-10 mins, it started spin cycle, Afther that, when its over of spin cycle i turn off washer by my self.

I know but because it messed up its program, perhaps there's something wrong with the circuitry.

We have an oldie aswell and the contact points were corroded because of the room that it operated in for quite some years.

ok now to get real .

 

the dial // sounds like  it could be the timer . the arm in the timer might be broken off inside and this is why its by passing that location. pull the dial out and take it to get a replacement for it. also write down the make , model and serial number to order the part

it should be just 1 cycle, but my washer runs 2 times of that. Like there was no ending.

2 months have already passed since the creation of this topic, and the topic starter hasn't been active on the Forum since then as well, so I guess this issue has been resolved by now.
