Sheet to track giveaway kills (and a lot more!)

Hey peeps!

A lot of people demand that a website be made which tracks their kills during giveaways, or during events like The War where a specific amount of kills have to be made for rewards. They complain that tracking kills after each battle is a headache, and they might get the math wrong, and then miss the tiers for a few kills due to miscalculation.

I myself experienced similar problems. So I noted down all the problems the average tanker faces during kill-goals like this, and made this wonderful peace of ingenious art:

LA EXCEL SHEET!

Not only does it help you keep track of your kills, it does a lot more. It calculates the number of matches you will have to play yet to reach your goal, the time that will take, your average kills/match, and helps you with your health too by reminding you to take a break every hour.

All you have to do is fill out the "Kills" column with the number of kills you see on your scoreboard at the end of the match, and then fill out the "Self-Destructs" column with the number of SDs you suffered. Keep a mental count of the latter throughout the match. This is because kills lost due to SDs are counted in the kills-goal.

The rest is calculated via algorithms.

Now, there are some assumptions the sheet makes:

It assumes that you will fill out the columns correctly, and will not mess around with the algorithms.

It assumes that when you're done with the stuff, you will revert the numbers you filled out back to 0. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! You can do it like this:

You must not leave it empty, but replace it with 0. If you understand excel codes, and look at some of the codes I used here, you'll understand why. But do not mess around ignorantly. I'll later explain the stuff in the comments, I just wanna get this published and go to bed now...

The sheet also assumes, in it's time calculations, that you play a match of 15 mins.

It assumes that you'll not be a smartarse and just add two numbers from two different matches and put it in one row. While this might show the correct number of total kills done and left, it will screw up EVERY other calculation.

It assumes that a human needs a break from video gaming after every hour. If you want to make this period longer or shorter, change the "60"s to whatever minutes you want (just make sure it's a multiple of 15, or else idk what might happen):

Don't touch the "NOW!" because changing that will not make the thing turn red, and you'll end up not taking the break and screwing up your body. In fact, just don't touch anything unknowingly. Also, keep the Cntrl+z buttons alive.

With that, you're pretty much good to go use it. If you've any questions, you can ask them here, obviously. Give some feedback too! Make sure to report any bugs, thanks.

Oh, and download the thingy from g-drive. Idk if this will work on mac os, but we'll see, I wanna go sleep now bai...

Nice. Works fine. Don't know why the devs can't be bothered to add something like this to Tanki.

Cuz you guys won't buy stuff, saying the devs are greedy, and that makes them underfunded. And thanks.

really helpfull thx

Thanks again.

An amazing concept and quite helpful I imagine, but would it not be easier for people to just count via ratings site (i.e. They start at 31416 kills and have to perform 400 kill so they keep killing until they reach 31816 and then 20 or so more just for safety)?

Great though,

Nice work! I can't be bothered to print a graph and fill it in while I'm playing though. I just check online every once in a while.

No no, printing will defeat all purposes. You're supposed to fill out the graph in MS Excel, in your computer. Treat it like a software. Fill in the numbers, and watch the sheet crunch the numbers and do magic.

Great though,

Not for those who end up wandering in PRO battles. Plus, with the excel sheet around, you can now enjoy PRO battles without worries, go to your friend's rank up, do some parkour, all that. This excel sheet provides greater freedom.

and avoid pro battle for 48 hrs

See that's the problem for a lot of people.

And the ratings page doesn't periodically remind you to take a much needed health break.
