In Tanki Control Settings, ''Use Overdrive Automatically'' will be enable by system

 

What it will do?

After Overdrive load to 100% it will be used automatically in X Seconds so you don't have to press shift.

 

Why?

Because In Every battle there is 1 or more noob player who don't use Overdrive which is bad so this will let them use.

 

I don't like Overdrive automatically system because I'm waiting for a Special moment to use it What should i do?

Disable it from Game settings.

I suggested this ~ 4 months ago in OD thread.  I had indicated 2 min - so it actually gives someone time to use strategically.

 

But yeah - sooooo many players either refuse to use it, or have no clue - the advantage goes far in favor of team actually using it.

3. When I was playing with 1 of my alt account I noticed few players in battle are not using overdrive battle end and new battle starts, still they are not using again battle ends and I got this Idea

 

I think we are experiencing same thing which gave us similar Ideas :P

Guys do you know about the first battle in tanki when a help panel automatically shown to us ? It has the control help and drugs use and other BASIC stuff , I suggest add 'press SHAFT to use overdrive' for the noobs know about it.

No showing them won't help because there are many 10-15 players think it's not important to open help panel. Some players don't know about settings and some players play as default settings they don't like to change it. there are many different players.

But +1 with your idea because it will teach them to use overdrive so they can use it with teammates :)

I thought it's Shift button thanks for letting me know it's Shaft not shift

Overdrive needs to be shared with 1 or more players to be effective. Activating it right after getting 100% (probably not next to your teammates) is not a good idea.

Or Activate Automatically when your team mate is in the range. Activate By Default is better then not using overdrive

          Yes, I like the idea of automatic activation of Overdrive. So many people won't use it anyway around team mates, even worst than that, they wait for a gold box to drop to use it, others noobs running after someone who can activate it crying "shift", they dont even focus on the battle, they run after the overdrive as if it was a gold box and is simply pathetic and annoying at the same time. I hope Dev will listen to this request, including deactivation option from own account menu.

All the players that like to save OD for a Gold will just disable auto OD activation in the setting anyway. This is kind of pointless.

          No, as long as you can do the setting only outside the game (I hope I understood correctly what you mean).

Y no you disable it from settings if you dont like auto activates. If activates by accident then all I can say is Accident happens

Here's how I use my OD, in the order of usage:

1...Heal a teammate

2...If a teammate is having trouble killing an approaching enemy

3...If I'm actively engaging the enemy and my supplies are in cooldown, I'll use it to heal myself.

4...If a teammate has full health and is pushing and shoving me (even though I'm shooting at the enemy or aiming with Shaft) I'll activate my OD just to get rid of that player. Of course, if I need it or a teammate is very low on health, I don't have it to give.  :(  :angry:

Imho 2 minutes are too long. As it takes about 5 min 30 sec for the overdrive to load to 100 %, if you don't make any actions like kills, capture flags etc.

 

I would prefer a 30 sec. time frame for players to activate it. If they don't, it should activate automatically.

Players need time to use it strategically - like gathering a few or... getting to place near enemies base for a strong rush.

 

But some kind of automated activation is needed because there are so many selfish players.

Good idea, but the automatic overdrive should not be a forced feature. There must be a enable/disable setting in the Settings menu that must be turned on or off. When enabled, the overdrive will automatically activate itself. When disabled the overdrive will be activated manually, as of now.

my Idea is to Activate Overdrive in 1 min If the player didn't Activate it

Because in Events like gold X10 and this new Update ( gold drop in 10 Sec ) player doesn't press Shift waiting for the gold and that effect really bad
