          Regarding xp/bp yes there are many tips, there are many players here who can show you, but remember in bp/xp always be a fair-player, otherwise really there is no use playing it, and all skills in the world will make it an ugly game if players are not fair. Then, rail is about knowing some simple Math + you need to have a very good relationship with your gun and you will eventually get there in some time if you will like it.

          Honestly I don't think you have a really good reason to change your nickname. Even on "Generalissima" and my current nickname there are still noobs telling me "bro" , "man", etc. But, at least, I can figure out, what kind of expectations I can have from them. You could use this and turn it into your advantage.
