well guys i have played it in tanki X and back over 6 months ago before it was fully in the game .. it was great , now forget it . they think they gained players but what they did was remove all there dedicated players who played tanki and replaced them with unskilled players . if you do research on match making system with other game company's most company's lost players . it took years to regain them back due to the fact they had to change the system to what players enjoyed . for now I can see both tanki and tanki x joining into one game . which is a fail if they continue to go down this path.

  • No battle list, what of XP/BP, parkour? You guys should know that the only reason a large part of the playerbase plays is because of XP/BP and Parkour, what will happen to these 2 modes was not mentioned in the video but it doesn't look good.
  • You can't chose maps, utter crap, I don't like playing in your "10v10" maps with shafts and places where drugs are must, now I can't even chose my map, so no heed to player choice then?
  • "HAHA PEOPLE PLAY POLYGON BECAUSE FUND LOL" yes, and no. People do play polygon for fund but also because of its map structure, with all of the action focused on one point, the battle is also fun, now after this update you will be placed into 10v10 battles with heckin 10 points and goddamn shafts with an utter lack of brain cells camping only for kills, with nobody actually capturing the points.
  • Changing controls only because MOBILE control doesn't work? You are killing the whole BODY to cure a BRUISE.

 

TL;DR This VLOG shows the complete disconnection of the developers from the players and shows that they have no idea what the playerbase wants.

 

 

Cant agree more . Also on the Polygon which they killed allready in normal battles because of the changed map . At least in Pro you got the good old battle . Noise is also a loved map , and you cant say that its because of high funds/xp , 1 hour of both is a huge difference . Its because of close focussed battles , everybody fighting the same spots and they are not easy to take . Thats why people love these maps , not drive around too much and always action .

I never liked this guy with a pony tail in the video, he seems way too confident and doesn't know what he is doing. Just some guy with a pony tail ruining the whole community base, nice. 

 

The old polygon was really fun, remember playing that map back in 2012 and it was still good till 2017 but then they changed the structure. Barely played XP/BP polygon matches but by looking at the videos, it seemed enjoyable and I doubt players only play that map just for the battle fun, I mean how can they even say players play that map just for a battle fund? That is actually disrespectful, what if they were playing for fun? It makes me angry, you can't blame players for some bad battle fund and then make some crappy update, fire this pony tail guy lol.

Oh I get it. You are removing exp from private battles because you want to eliminate all those fights which happens within clans just because one player end up having less score than others. hmm... very nice of you. ;)

Agree, Red team had a huge advantage but so did blue at the same time, with blue it was easier to cap a flag as you just jump down the ramp and cap the flag. 

Then they changed madness map for god knows why, it was really fun sniping players whilst they were down there capping flags. 

 

I feel like they try to find any excuse for them to seem that they are working on "Huge" updates so they the community can see they are working hard lol. 

 

Another thing is, I highly doubt anyone will play Tanki on the phone so that is kind of waste of time trying to develop something won't work out.

Ok guys I take back what I said before of random maps selection of MMS.

I used the random battle button for the first time n landed in Kungur and if that was not enough in TDM, I hate TDM tbh because of low funds, so I take that back, random battles sucks because I don't like TDM n CTF battles in some maps.

I am a huge fan of the control change! No more drifting tanks! Finally I get my old Viking back!!!!!

Its part of the game , a good user knows that and makes use of it , or takes care that it doesnt run out of control.... viking drifts , so does hornet . wasp flips over ( what about solving that ? ) , mammoth and titan are slow . Why not fix it completely and make it 1 hull :ph34r: . Make it 1 weapon also , like a twins because then on the the phone you dont need a button for firing , its easier . and get rid of the protection , because they are difficult to read on a 4 inch phone . Since you only got 1 weapon and hull its better .

Yeah, several of these "HUGE" updates don't even turn out to be huge, take the example of DM tournaments that were tested so many times but scrapped, or the system which would allow players to take long breaks from battles and then come back, the same thing is for TX, it had a system where your turret's stats would improve if you played with it longer, but now that has only been replaced with lootboxes, completely removing the old system.

 

 

The phone part is just a huge cashgrab because no current players will switch to phone for control reasons, and the new players coming from phone will be a good source of revenue because phone games already have lootboxes (containers) and they are quite popular.

. I would like to see a  pole on how many players really use the match making button .. it would be interesting to find out..

 

also in TF2 they have been changing to add in a system that if you choose a battle such as CP then it takes you to a section and it gives u also a list of battles and maps to choose from.. basically what tanki all ready has in play.. interesting how they changed from the match making system that the system chooses your maps and battles .. how do I know this both my son's been playing on it for years . and seen old / match making and new systems..

Well, this is it for me! Once matchmaking goes live, I am out of here.  There is no point of playing a game where I cannot choose where and who to play with.  I guess the old Soviet mentality of taking FREEDOM OF CHOICE away from the players is alive and well in the Tanki gulag! I play this game for fun and this will no longer be fun.  I used to like playing in maps like Berlin, Monte Carlo, Dusseldorf, Madness, Wave and other maps and now I have been reduced to play the same maps that a limited skills Tanki developer THINKS I should be playing!

I have 4 other accounts that I play also and they will be inactive, so count 5 accounts as lost.  I tried playing WoT and their matchmaking system sucks.  Yes the battles are balanced by type of tank but not by player skill and you do not have a choice of maps but you get dumped 90% of the time on the same map. But I will say this about WoT: Their system is stable and error free. I have never encountered a technical problem such as I have seen in Tanki like the very descriptive "an error has occurred" or the severe lag that gets introduced every time there is a server restart.  A week a go in Tanki, the parachutes of the supplies were suspended in the air after you picked up the supply and of course the mouse controls would stop working and you could not turn your turret within one minute in to the game! Remember that/ And Yes, those are the same developers that will dictate to the players, where and who to play against!  Good luck Tanki! It was fun while it lasted!

this would also be interesting cause in the past they could only give it to one player and not the whole team .. unless Nives has changed it , but then would it not have to supply a list of players in the battle so he could send to all players involved with in the video ..

 

would like more info on this..??

I always use the "Battle List" button to play the game.  I only used the other buttons once just to see what they do, and it confirmed my fears.  The just dumped me 99% of the time on a map that I did not want to be against players that were 99% Legend level with much more powerful combos. It was physically impossible to complete the 50 kills required for the mission! (By the way the reward was 15 speed boost and 10 mines. in other words, worthless!)

Now that they are taking this option away, I will go away too.

If you are going to shorten it, make the gold box a variable/random drop delay.

 

Shorter delays will favor light hulls more, especially on larger maps. I didn't care if the drop rate would have been 10x on the recent event weekend; with the size of most maps, my Mammoth had no chance to get anywhere for a gold box. Occasionally, there needs to be a chance for larger hulls on these maps (because they DO have important roles to play). However, a heavy hull user shouldn't expect to be in on every gold box dog-pile on the largest maps either. By using a random delay (or at least one tuned to the map size), everyone will get some chances, and some quick drops will even leave out heavy hulls on smaller maps.

 

A big reason for using the random delay is to make it unpredictable. On the 30 second delay, you'll see lots of self-destructs and ignoring the game goal in order to go for the far more lucrative gold box. Since most matches are blowouts now anyway, it doesn't affect the outcome to ignore the game for a minute. Tankers will gladly forgo a few tens of experience and crystals for at worst a 1 in 20 chance at 1000 smackers. Many of us reading this can do much better than that. I caught 3 in a row last night and doubtless ticked off 57 other tankers in the process!

 

If the delay is unpredictable, it adds to the risk to self-destruct. You may be too incapacitated to go for the gold. Imagine if you weren't sure that it would drop in 30 seconds or 5. You can self-destruct, set yourself back in the round, and have a better chance of the gold (and far over-achieve your expected battle result) if it's a long delay. Or you can throw away any chance you had because you will re-spawn too far away while watching it descend upon a pile of red-lining battle machines with drivers licking their chops and reaching for the heavens in unison.

 

Selfishly, I don't want short drop times because I am a heavy hull user. Maybe better, more fairly: I think the intrigue of the gold box simply goes up if no one has an obvious winning strategy just because they can find the spot.

I will stay as long as TO does not remove the pro pass from the garage.

My time in game everyday is:

90% pro battles

10% non pro(for chains).

 

I already suffered the imbalanced gameply since Warrant Officer 1, and knew that unless I don't spend non pro is not a place for me as when I had m1's m2+ freeze would kill me every time, and that explains my low K/D.

 

The ASL mode brought my interest in the non pro again, but now I can't choose ASL so sad.

Anyways I don't care what TO does to non pro, because it's good news for me, as more pro battles means a wider choice to play.
