Episode 165 of the V-LOG is now live!

What is tanki doing. The players were first almost 100k then 40k now they want to drop it even more with these kind of updates. They received a negative feedback when they first tested Matchmaking so if you would do it forever no one is gonna play tanki that much and many would even quit(which i would do)

If you want tanki to be better stop with these noob updates

Remember the old days when everyone could create a battle with complete personalization on duration, place, mode. I think that tanki was far better in those days, the battle list has more diversity (now I see always the same 10 maps...), it was possible to play long battles and earn a lot at the end.

I like the base idea of the matchmaking system, because in the last year the game has become full of unbalanced battles (one team have 2-3 druggers and the other not), but I think they should let us decide to play with the system or choose a battle individually. Plus short battles are not very funny, you have little time to do something, but we are forced to play them because of missions.

Yes, and you can still create battles with customized duration, mode, and map, just not the name (I don't have any information on whether that will become a feature when matchmaking is released) but in PRO battles. When matchmaking comes out, PRO battles will become free to make, no more need for monthly rent. 

 

I'm aware of that, but I'll let you know a bit from my perspective. I don't really have a lot of time everyday, nowadays I just barely get time to finish my dailys. But even if there are days that I've already done a daily for a day or for the next 2-3 days, I usually end up joining a non-PRO battle because they are short and I simply may not have a lot of time to be playing PRO battles that may have long time or no time at all. I'm trying to maximize crystals now, not experience. 

 

I believe you are talking about a system that is already in the game... If you press the "Battle" button, it leads you to the buttons for the supposed "matchmaking" buttons, from where you can press on a mode or random battle and it will take you there... but meanwhile, players in that same battle may have come in through the battle list. And let's face it, that system has not solved anything. 

 

Yeah, we have little time to do something, so that's why I do the most I can in that short time. If I have a mission to do, I focus towards finishing that mission first. If I have no mission left to do, I just play as good as I can in the mode given, or if I'm not in the mood, I just get off for the day.

 

 

I don't need to wait for Tanki to release great updates since I have many other things in life to do, that's pretty much why I have faith in Tanki to make non-pro battles better.... Hopefully. They just need to take their time if needed and really understand what they are working on, how they can learn to improve around what they are working on, and importantly who they are working towards.. I agree with the fact that they do need more training on understanding their target audience.

Ok, I played the test server and hunter was moving like it was on snow.

And the contols are pathetic for turrets, I missed some 20 shots in full scope in shaft because the turret was having different controls, sometimes going more left than I press A key, and sometimes I holded A for a while and it took like eternity to turn from one end to another.

 

Twins, is having same thing, the turret rotation was so slow, n sometimes so fast.

wow hunter is amazing I now can climb on top of other tanks and just fly . same as in tanki X or space mode. lighter tanks will be too fast for the heavy tanks to catch up with them now.

1 thing is sure that I realised from test server.

Magnum is OP^10000.

 

I just bought magnum m3 n mued it 1/20, while every tank enemy had 20/20.

 

Results in Highland CTF.

Kills 50, deaths 0. Drugs used: Like a drunk man.

Mag protection in game:0% not any player  bothered about it.

 

Results: 1 shot kill, wasp, hornet, viking, hunter, dictator (with DD on).

2 shot kill titan n mammoth.

 

Although the game was lagging like hell, else I was sure to get 60+ kills.

 

The splash radius is like hell, I had mag protection, so I was shooting even in near combat, n the splash killed 2 mammoths, in 1 shot.

Max kills per shot: 5 full health hulls.

 

Conclusion: I need a magnum man, I need it real bad now.

I've got 20/20 magnum on this account and yes it is a beast, does 4k damage.

Lol I've just tested the new controls on test server, I left straight after 5 seconds, no joke. Pathetic and ugly controls.

I thought that the controls did just what they were supposed to do: give stability. They don't have the flow of before or the drifting feel, but I do recognize the advantage. With more stability, space mode will become more useful, as you won't flip if you turn sharp. But it also often requires less skill. For example in XP/BP, you can destabilize a tank onto its side by shooting as they turn. This is stopped with the stable controls.

I don't know about you guys but I felt like it was forced.

When I pressed W it accelerates hunter like on snow, and then pressing S its like someone stopped u from behind and I am having trouble while aiming and driving.

Did V-log indicate battles were getting shorter?  Like down to 10 min?

 

If so, that's terrible.  10 min is not enough time to get anything done - especially since only the larger maps are in circulation.

And if you end up in battle partially finished you have no time for score, collecting, capping or anything else.

 

Looks like Devs only want light hulls being used.

 

If Match-making drops me into partially completed battles with only 7 min left, and that team is already losing - adios muchachos - I'm not sticking around in a losing cause where I will get no rewards.

 

Seems like TO is moving more and more toward the Tanki-X model - and that is NOT a good thing.

Tanki-X does not have enough players - for a reason.  It is not as good.

Thank god Tanki is constantly listening to our feedback and takes our views into account and doesn't repeatedly backstab its community for cash(!)

 

To be honest, I think I hated literally every single suggestion in that V-Log. So far, the devs have implemented different parts of the Matchmaking, and every step has had serious problems and/or been hated.

 

People LIKED being able to do missions in PRO battles. People LIKED the servers for multiple countries. Failing that, people LIKED having the server list. Failing that, people LIKED being able to see more than one battle mode at a time. Not to mention the complete crash of the unified battle list when it was created.

 

When there have been gold box glitches, TO managed a rollback within hours. When they released a major update that didn't work, they didn't roll back, they botched it. That's all this is. Bad fixes on top of bad updates.

 

Tanki. Does. Not. Need. Matchmaking.

Its a bad news to us about the new controls updates , it makes me confused when turning the turret while moving the tank .

 

I hope that there will be a place in the game settings to enable and disable this feature.
