I saved my containers becuse I had no real need to open any. I shared that info with my project contributors.

 

I do not tell people what to do with their containers.  I ask people to contribute data. We learn from the data and share that knowledge with everyone. That's a good thing for everyone.

I think the Counter isn't working properly. I've done 540+ kills and shows 458 kills. And I'm sure none of these kills have been made in Pro-Battle. I've checked it after every refreshment but it'd stuck at 458 -_-

The reason you think the counter is unreliable is because it is.  TO's counters failed me twice in the War event. I di dnot get 32 containers that I'd earned.  I know of doaens of otehr players who were also screwed mt TO's inability to write solid code. Amd of course TO refused to make goon on its mistakes or even to look into their won coding mistakes.  They just blame all their customers of being unable to count.

 

They deserve no respect and especially no financial support. Ever.

I’m also gonna pass on the shop bundle. First time I’ve let one of those go unclaimed since 2016. Thay’re just not as attractive to me without the paints. I know there are containers inside, but I’m starting to suspect that the container rewards have been nerfed to reduce the number of paints awarded.

I track container openings. There's no reason to suspect the odds of each award being changed. OTOH tehg paints area is where I feel the most uncertainty.  In a week or so we'll have enough data I can perhaps settle out the paint odds a little better.

 

If you open 100 containers you will with over 99% certainty get 1 more more Garage paints and it is about 96% to get 1 or more Epic Paints.  But for the legendary animated paints even 100 containers gives you maybe 50% to 60% chance of getting 1 (or more) of those.

- Before opening containers remember that Premium Accounts begin as soon as you get that reward. You can open containers when you know you'll be playing the following day or days, and it's better if those days coincide with events.

If you open containers one by one, your chances of getting a legendary-tier paint are indeed very low. However, I wholly believe that opening larger packs at once (5 container pack/15 container pack) has some effect on increasing your chances of getting those paints (or any other paint tiers in general). I got 56 containers from the War, I opened 15 container pack thrice, 5 container pack twice and 1 singular container; I got 2 legendary paints - 3 garage paints and 1 epic (shop) paint. Whereas my clanmate who received the same reward from the War, he opened them all one by one and got no legendary paints and only 2 epic paints. So basically what I'm saying is, you should aim for higher packs if you have a good sum of containers.

Yes, and this is why you are wrong.

 

Your hypothesis is based on a single measurement. 56 boxes opened once in one way versus 56 boxes being opened once in another way. To make this result statistically significant, you need to repeat that experiment at least 20-25 times. As it stands, you could repeat it once, get a completely different answer, and walk away pretending you never said it in the first place.

I have not only checked when thought I had 300 kils and had 664 kills at that point in al time, but now I am on 1077 and more kills which I didn't count but didn't receive any box

Big like for the sales, big dislike that we are forced to use more drugs than normal. I do not understand. Tanki spend a lot of time to make the game be balanced, there is extra strategy involved too with the Overdrive mode, and bang. The drugs... make all the effort gone.

Erm, yeah, I kinda forgot you owned that topic. I’m sure you’re right. I’m just whining. I opened 15 containers about a month ago and got both Africa and Glitch. On an M2 alt, I opened three containers and the last one had the Shop only paint Drought. Nice haul there. This morning I opened another 15 and got lots of goodies but no paints of any kind. Most likely just bad luck today, but to not even get a garage paint in a set of 15 makes me wonder.

Indeed it would, there's still plenty room for improvement on the current kill counter.

The kill counter will only start displaying your actual amount of kills as soon as you've reached the first kill tier.

No worries and whining is needed at times. 15 no-paints in a row is entirely unremarkable. It just seems especially rotten when you are hoping for that desired prize. ;)

 

Grats on Africa. I think that is one of the best paints. Do you like Drought on an actual tank? It looks interesting in the 'swatch' you see in the shop.

 

LW got Hohkama and Amber. Hohkama is another nice garage paint. Amber looks good too. I got that on 2 accounts now.
