Connect Forum to In-Game

Barely anyone who plays the game has ever heard of the TO forum. TO forum would be more active if right next to the clans button in the lobby, there would be a "Forum" button that would have a shrinked version TO forum pop up on the right side of the screen. You should also be able to access the general chat on the left side.

Valid

Forums are generally less active communication platforms than the game itself. It doesn't matter how much it's advertised and stuffed into players' faces - the vast majority will never be interested because text-based discussions are just not their thing. A lot of players come to play only and don't even use the chat, while some use the chat but can't be bothered to read and write walls of text on the forum.

I think a lot of more people would also use the forum if they would be automatically logged in (login credentials are same anyways), when they are linked over from in-game to the forum.

Many players, for some reason do not know about the forum, but if they knew about it then they would register.
10/10. The idea is good, you can mention at the very first entrance to the game.

Yeah but I would say most players don't even know the forum exists or how to use forum. I understand how many people don't like chatting with other players but that's simply because they refuse to spend sometime to try something new. There are plenty of people who just grind 12+ hours in the game and get bored of playing and the forum is a great way to blow off steam.

I asked a guy if he could go write "I am in this clan" under my clan post to confirm clan membership and they don't know how to use forum or how to find it in fact. One player managed to find it but doesn't realize that he has to be logged in to post stuff. Maybe if it was connected to the in-game, we would automatically be logged in and could easily use forum.

It's a valid argument, but I don't really see a problem with the forum being unpopular. As much as I would love to have more people here, making the forum more popular just doesn't really do anything for developers or players. It's not as important as, say, raising awareness about the information on the Help site or other important data. Not to mention that there are tons of more valuable updates that we would all prefer to see implemented in the game, instead of an in-game forum feature with potential bugs and limited functionality.

Changed idea status btw.
