Declined Allow ALL players to create battles

Now, I know this idea might be declined, because Tanki doesn't accept ideas that revert updates, so this is more of a suggestion.

 

My idea is that all players can create a battle, whether they have a pro pass, premium pass, or not. But here's the thing:

 

For players without a pro or premium pass:

When pressing the "Create" button, this opens up the battle customization panel. However, this is very limited, as the only thing the player can customize is the map and the rank limits. Everything is defaulted to non-pro settings.

When the battle is created, it will show as a non-pro battle.

 

For players with a Pro or Premium Pass:

When creating a battle, on the customization screen, the player can only choose the map and rank limits. However,  there is a new checkbox, next to it, it will say; Pro-Battle. When clicking the "pro-battle" checkbox, all of the customization controls we see today when creating a pro-battle will pop up, and the battle will be created as a Pro Battle.

If players got the ability to create battles, we would be stuck with the same problem that PRO battles have now - a very limited choice of maps and a bunch of battles with only 1 or 2 players because everyone wants to play their own format instead of joining an existing game. That's why the current system works so well - new battles are created only when necessary, so almost all existing battles are full or nearly full, allowing for dynamic gameplay and fast fund growth.

 

As for the ability to create battles for free - after Matchmaking is officially released PRO battles will most likely become free to create (PRO pass will be completely removed).

They'll become free, but as the new Vlog states with a large middle finger, they won't reward you with EXP or crystals at all. So basically pointless.

I think everyone should be able to choose their own map which is why I was so strongly against Matchmaking and the stupid "Pick a gamemode and hope the TI-90 calculator sends you to an active battle" system we have now. Forcing matchmaking for progress isn't streamlining or whatever they're trying to do at all, it's limiting something that never needed limiting in the first place. Tanki has nearly 100 maps in it's current pool, wouldn't they want them all to be used? Because right now, I think I'm sick to my stomach of Highland, Silence, and Massacre.
