New loading screen hint: Leave repair kits for damaged teammates

Because I saw 9/10 new players they don't know this rule! They all thought that it would be good for him to pick up the repair kit on the ground, but when his tank was really hurt, he had no repair kit to use!

So when the new player starts to play the game, please show the subtitles to tell them that when they are not injured, picking up the repair kit on the ground is useless to him!

As already pointed out in the locked thread...

Useless ... except for...

1) Missions

2) Denying enemy from using the RK

I can determine they are wrong to think pick up the repair kit will increase their own repair kit in the garage! Not for mission or do not allow the enemy to use. Why? Because they are new players who have no experience and no such skill and smart!

And some of them even when their tank rollover do not know to press the delete key! And their tank will only go forward and will not control back!

I see this happen everyday. Even on my more advanced account. Players who have just respawned will actually fight a teammate with very little health left for the RK. It has happened to me a number of times. So, it's not just newbys doing it, it's seasoned players that do it, too, and they know better. Do you really think a message will make a difference? Majority of players will leave a RK at or near home base and they (we) didn't have a message. We learned by our mistakes, as they will, too.

You "can determine"?  How do you know their intent?

You made it sound like there is never a case when it's appropriate to pick up the RK while undamaged.

I was just pointing out there are times when it's ok to grab the RK - even when undamaged.

What is seasoned players? I think player with K/D below 2 never be experienced, no matter how long he played the game!

I can tell you that I have played this game for more than three years and have more than ten accounts. The highest account is Generalissimo. In my observations, when the class is behind Brigadier,I have never seen a player use RK without injury! And on the contrary, not injured but rushing to use RK is the new player!

What does this mean? Yes, after waiting for these players to play for more than six months, they will find that they are not injured and that using RK will not increase the number of RKs in their garage. It may also prevent other injured teammates from using them. Losing the game was bad for his personal score, so he finally knew he couldn't use the RK without tank no injuries.

Why do I have to make this suggestion? It is because I have seen too many newbies fighting for RK without injuries! This is a tank battle game, not a fighting to your teammates for RK game right? What is how stupid it is! This will cause the entire team to fail!

In the planning of this game, RK's design was used for injured tanks, right? But if the no injuries tank is used immediately after seeing the RK, why did need planning this RK that was dropped from the sky? Isn't it?!

And why are those rookies who are not injured but are rushing to use the RK? Doing this behavior that has nothing to do with themselves is not good? Apart from not increasing the RK of their own garage and possibly causing the failure of the entire team to cause his personal score to decrease? Why do they have this wrong idea? Because of the lack of education!!!

Do you really think a message will make a difference?

A message may not be 100% useful. But definitely can improve the current situation! It's like we can't be Bill Gates.

But we each still need to work hard, right?

At the same time I hope this information can be obviously. The words such as the rollover button to press the delete key appear often, but still so many players do not see it!

Thanks for your comments!

Not sure what K/D has anything to do with this... and is 2 just a number you pulled out randomly?

Anyway, aside from that...

- I agree some kind of hint/tip can be useful for new players.

- I disagree it's a "rule" - since it surely is not

- some players take the RK even if not injured and there are 2 legitimate reasons (that I can think of) for doing so.

- hard to believe you've never seen anyone above Brigadier take the RK uninjured - it's a strategy to deny enemies using the RK in your base. I do it whenever necessary.  better I take the RK than an enemy carrying our flag - correct?

Why complain about this when you can just use your RK supply?

The reason is that do not like to see that are not injured but use RK.

Because:
1. This violates the purpose of game design.
2. May cause the entire team to fail.
3. This is a stupid behavior, it's only bad for he himself, there is no any benefit!

Why does a person do something harmful to himself? The reason is ignorance. So must tell them to get knowledge. Right?

In simple terms, it's like a rollover doesn't know about pressing the delete key. I’ve seen several new players flip the tank, I told him to press the delete button in English, but he is a Russian, so nothing I can do, so he just lay down there more then five minutes! What does this mean? Many new players do not pay attention to rules!

I fully understand what you mean.

First of all, please believe me, I'm not a newbie. If you don't believe me, you can check the K/D value of this Sky9's  unpaid account to know that I know all the fighting skills.(in other paid drugs account I have the highest record a half-hour battle can kill 163 enemies tanks, but me did not die once) I'm sorry must to say to you, I am a hard to beat tank player, I know all the fighting skills you know,OK?

As for the K/D value, that is my personal experience. Every time I meet a tough opponent, I will check their K/D value. I can tell you the truth, if someone can kill me more than three times in a battle, then the player 9.5/10 chance is that K/D is over 2.

- I disagree it's a "rule" - since it surely is not

This is the relationship between language translation. Because I'm not from an English-speaking country, so I can only use this word. Mean is want to play this game must to know something, OK?

Please come back to the topic. What I mainly say is >> Newbie player gets RK because of ignorance << It has nothing to do with other combat skills!

Thank you for your thoughtful comments!

I have already agreed it is a good idea to put in hints about use of supply drops.

On the other hand - K/D is in no way an indicator of experience or ability.

On the other hand - K/D is in no way an indicator of experience or ability.

Take a look at an Isida's K/D. Not many have a 2.0 K/D because everyone of them have a target in lights blinking all over them. Most will target the Isida to get it out of the way instead of trying to kill the enemy tank that is being healed.

Note:   I said "Not many..." I didn't say "None."

Sorry if this is off topic. Since you know all the fighting skills, then this should be obvious to you. What does your Isida account have as a K/D? I just wanted to make this clear to you. A low K/D does not mean a player is inexperienced. On my Colonel Isida account, I have a low K/D. I use Firebird for DM and make some good scores, but my K/D is still the same because it's main turret is Isida. You can't judge a person's ability/experience or lack of it because of their K/D.

You mentioned tanks flipping and not hitting Delete to respawn. Since you have at least 10 accounts, then you know that the controls are explained to the new player. At the bottom of the screen is a keyboard showing the controls. When a player flips, a notation appears that tells the player to hit delete (DEL). As you say, some still don't do it. So, what makes you think putting a message about the Repair Kit ("Don't take that repair kit, you still have full health") will prevent them from doing it anyway. Some do it out of spite, some do it out of strategy and some do it by accident. Sure, I've seen newbies fight over a RK. Let them. While they are fighting over it, I take advantage of the situation and get some more kills under my belt or another hash mark on my tank.

No, I don't think so. You quoted and made the comment. I was extending that comment because it seems has a problem with players with low K/Ds and was judging accordingly.

>>Take a look at an Isida's K/D..... to kill the enemy tank that is being healed.

Although I haven't used Isida myself, I have an account that specifically tests Freeze with the same short attack distance. The K/D can still exceed 2.5.(no paid no drugs) So if I use Isida,I think K/D still won't less than 2, OK?

>>I said "Not many..." I didn't say "None."

You don't need to specify this point. Although I'm a person with strong personality, but I'm also an objective and harmonious person. I know what you mean. OK?

Yes, I said that a player with  K/D of less than 2 will never have experience. What does this mean? It's up to you to what your goal is to play this game. If you play this game the goal is just for fun, don't care about winning or losing. The low K/D doesn't mean inexperience, because you don't care about the outcome of the game. Right?

Conversely. If you play this game is in order to win. Then I can tell you the fact, that the more players in your team that have a K/D of more than 2, the more chance your team will win. And vice versa. Among your teammates, the more teammates with low K/D, the more teammates just for fun don’t care about killed by enemies, your team will eventually fail.

>>You can't judge a person's ability/experience or lack of it because of their K/D.

Please note that I only mention ''experience''. Did not mention the word "ability",OK? Because this is just a game, There is nothing to do with a person’s ability. I'm talking about "experience", refers to the experience in this game!

Why do I say that K/D is related to experience? For example, someone played ten match-one-on-one matches with you and you won the ten games. Do you think your opponent has more experience than you? So K/D can't represent experience?

As for what is the experience of this game? I personally define it as ''a kind of wisdom and skill that will win this game''

Of course, everyone has different goals for playing games. Low K/D can also have fun, There is nothing wrong with them. But if you want to play for win, then K/D is the key. On the contrary. If you just come to for fun, do not care about winning or losing. Yes, that K/D does not mean anything!

>>what makes you think putting .... will prevent them from doing it anyway.

I just know that, if one thing does not do anything work, that thing will never change! Do not ask is it impossible?Just ask you to work hard yet!

Of course, this is not my business. But I can tell you the truth, because I love this game, so I hope this game will be better!

Thank you for your comment!

I disagree , because what if we have to do our missions?

we would only take repairs if we are injured ?

I ask you a question. Did you play the game just for mission or to win the battle?

If  let you go to the game every day, just to pick up the drugs on ground, but let you lose every battle, will you continue to play this game?

Please wake up! Battle victory is the main purpose. Not missions! Or you are only willing to accomplish personal mission, but let your team lose the game?!

For example. You have a teammate in your team, he specially collected drugs on the ground,(for his mission for any reason of his own) Let your other teammates have no drugs can use. Caused your team to lose the game. Do you think he is right?!

You wanted to respond to Sky9 but quoted my post - which leaves out all sky9 said.  I think in this case you should be quoting sky9, but whatever.

You are wrong on so many of your points - almost all of it is just not correct.

You mention K/D and experience as if they go hand-in-hand.  They do not.  Maybe it's a language thing and you chose the wrong word?

And talking of experience...

Your Sky9 account has experience with...

- TDM

- 1 combo of items.

And that's it.  You are missing 6 battle modes and much more equipment.

This account has no experience.

Log at least 1/4 of your hrs with Isida, play DM, cap a bunch of flags, and cap a whole lot of Capture Points.

Then come back and discuss K/D.

Though I agree, I kinda also disagree. Most current hints are on the global basis. This hint is based on strategy basis, meaning - something which will be learnt or mastered with the time. If they were to add this, they could also add more likewise hints, such as hints for "routes" "drop rates" "magnum's different angle of throwing the rugby ball" and so.
