Parkour Veteran Paint

Recommended Posts

I would like to say there are certain players who I know who are really good parkourists but they haven't received any paint yet as they are new . Also on the other hand ,I also know fair amount of players who are pretty good too but not part of any club or participating in any Parkour related events as they like to do Tandem tricks or 3 man parkour. So just giving paint to someone who has played for long time is ridiculous in my opinion.

Same as in eSport, there are lot of good eSport players but they aren't in any clan. This is also by parkour, so I dont understand ur point.

If there is veteran for Parkour, why not for other stuff?  Reason is: people care about eSports Veteran because Clans are the best group of players from the game, (and the purpose the game was created for) hence eSports Veterans are the Veterans of Tanki, the best of the best.  Parkourists are not the best players in Tanki.

There is a big misconception in Tanki , as from what I decode Tanki was made as a team game . But people now a days think 1vs1 or 2vs2 is everything. And esports is about 6vs6 or 7vs7 . so think before you speak , I_Legend_I .

How cute fight we have already between those parkourists and eSport players.

Unfortunately, parkourists are far less dedicated than eSporters. They don't really deserve any paint stuff, sorry.

"See, [nickname] is playing Garder XP/BP while we are trying to record this trick"

Edit: don't get me wrong, Swiftie and his girlfriend do deserve the paint, but kinda that's where the list ends.

He didn't say that. He said there's many other players out there with potential to be great in eSports, as there are parkourists.

Parkour is an art that's finally becoming more appreciated in the game hence why it's receiving much more attention, this is very recent compared to what it was like back when I joined. eSports has always had a more important standing, what's the problem if the Parkour community is progressing too? What other competitive community is there in the game for which a paint replicating Veteran's rarity must be made for?

Winning MOP 10 x is easier than winning top 8 in star series once

I disagree , if you think it's that easy why haven't you won a single MOP yet ?

Look both , Esports and Parkour requires dedication , hard work and patience and most importantly team work. Both have thier pros and cons , also yeah this idea is not bad , but there are several conditions which I don't agree with. Like giving paint go people only bcz they parkoured 4+ years or won major tournaments or who has clean karma. I mean people do realize thier mistake and change with time and there are many youtubers who do if not better than equally good parkour stuff compared to most of the club's out there who don't even do anything just receive club spec , drugs for free.

Because there are way more people active in esports compared to parkour. And still, MOP was easy back in 2015, every parkour contest is getting harderd over time because its popularity is growing. And ofcourse i agree there is a big difference between parkour & esports, nobody here said the paints have to be the same to achieve.

I haven't won MOP because I don't care about parkour because it is easy to do.  Why? Because multiple attempts are allowed.  Also, I don't particularly enjoy parkour as an activity anyway.

What?  Your statement makes no sense.  MOP you can try 10000 times, meaning even noobs can win MOP if they spend enough time.  Yayyyyyyy veteran parkour no life noobs , woooo give them a special paint even more than MOP which they already have for ever.

Ofc there are skilled parkourists, but they are not tested in pressured situations enough to earn a paint (videos with multiple attempts give them their veteran status, not winning competitions) and the game is not intended for parkour, hence they are veterans of a very particular art, and why don't we give paints to all things, like professional mine hunters, goldbox hunters? because the game INVOLVES, but is not BUILT AROUND parkour, whereas it is dedicated to combat, which eSports is also dedicated to.

Okay, are you trying to make this easier or harder for us? The whole point of a new paint for the Parkour community is because of that... No one wants such meaningless paints anymore. Anyway, the requirements for the paint is already being discussed and being mutually agreed on to be much harder to get, as in needing to win more contests to be eligible for it to make it balanced to eSport's requirement for Veteran, although that shouldn't even matter considering the two communities are very different.

"give paint to nolivers" bro, you can put that statement to esports as well, the more you play the better you get. The whole idea of putting more time to win makes no sense. Because you can apply that statement to whatever. Work hard, get rewarded.

Edit: btw, you should ask parkour clubs how much time they spend to make a single video.

Far less dedicated? Try to produce the stuff we do in the same time frame as us. I'm not talking about any random Parkour club, try to replicate the sort of stuff F&F and NGU do. We spend 2-3 hours per hard trick, and have 15-20 of each per montage. I've once spent 5-6 hours straight on just doing 1 trick. Almost 20 hours at max on 1 trick spaced out over a few days. Moreover, creativity takes time too to think about.

Just bcz you find parkour easy or boring doesn't mean it actually . Also this game was built initially for combat I agree. But look at it from other perspective eg : Parkour. As Einstein said : If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree you would believe for your whole life it's stupid. So I think parkour is an essential part in TO as it brings creativity , imagination and things which you can't dream of in E sports. Also parkour is more peaceful as compared to esports bcz you don't rage or insult other people/mods and lose paint in Parkour.

Ehh, the OP says winning things such as MOP multiple times, there are no parkour tournaments that hard to win.  Nevertheless, if tournaments became more like MOP *FINALS*, I would support such a paint in the distant future, but no one has won anything under that pressure much at all yet, not even SwiftSmoky.
