Also this definitely doesn't seem like 5x Gold drop. In each battle, at least 2-4 gold boxes must drop and right now, in some battles none of them drop.

i came close to rage quiting tanki becus of this event which i was 100% sure would be 50% sale but tanki even after 1 week of rest could not satisfy 

us players. the only thing which will make tanki better is to make another client or game page which consists of no buying and only non buyers, tanki is already getting so much money becus of thousands of buyers especially big youtubers such as claudia, oufa, makkman, ghost animator etc. tanki must stop this pay2win. 1 like = hope for non buyers

This sheer lack of originality burns me.

 

When I first joined Tanki, almost every celebration had something new to offer - surprise gold box content was a new thing. Black boxes, containers dropping from the skies - a new thing. New kinds of contests. Not to mention, gifts, holiday paints, banners, gold skins... they were always new, and as different from their previous version as possible.

 

Recently, banners, gifts and gold skins started to be re-used. This I silently tolerated - perhaps there were some short term issues at Perm. But this time, Tanki went simply beyond my patience limit by re-using the holiday paint - and a bad one, at that.

 

Sometimes, I am not particularly interested in sales simply because I don't have enough crystals for any kind of sale, or I'm saving for something else, that kind of stuff. But every time, without fail, I'm excited about the new paint that will be coming. "Think the paint will be a good one?" I frequently ask my friends. "I'm gonna save up at least 60k, in case the paint is good enough for me to buy." Event during the most uninteresting celebrations, paints are always new. This time, of course, nothing like that happened.

 

Yes, I'm sure there's an explanation. But I'm going to stay mad as long as I'm not given a convincing one. You can't expect me to comfort myself with "There's an explanation, probably something to do with Kemerovo." If there is an explanation, I ask for it - not because I doubt it's existence, but because I simply want it.

  

I just want to say that I am very unimpressed with the offering this year and maybe even slightly disgusted. I'm almost glad I don't play much Tanki these days.

 

Let's break down what we've been given this year.

“event”. Paint is fine and same things I don’t care. Not like you can buy it anyways.

 

Gifts/Paints/Decorations - Exactly the same as last year's. Even the holiday paint is the same. No new gifts.

Special Golds - No full supplies for 5 minutes like in the previous years. Apparently the one that dropped two extra golds once caught isn't around either. Most importantly, Golds aren't in PRO battles.

Discounts - Same as last year, though no Micro-upgrade discounts.

 

Last year we had a new Holiday paint as well as Special Missions to complete. We also had MU and SU discounts, even on XT items.

 

And of course special gold boxes won't be in PRO battles, which is actually rather shocking.

 

This year, what lovely special items do we receive...do we get new gifts? Do we get a new Holiday paint, or a special animated paint? Or maybe even new special rewards for the Fool's gold boxes? Or new decorated flags or drop zones?

 

Nope, we get nothing. Absolutely nothing.

 

Polite message to Tanki: Make existing special events more special with bigger sales, rather than adding in these useless in-between filler sales that no one cares about.

I use this trick for predicting golds.

Say the chance of gold has become x5. Well, we know chance of a fold is 1/7000. Let’s say the fund is 1000, during the event it would be translated to 5000 fund. You can predict by 2k fund, there should be at least one gold since 2000 x 5 is 10 000. In every 7000, there is 99% of the time at least 1 gold. 14k would be 2. If the fund is over 3k, it would be normal for 2 golds. hope this helps :)

I just got sick of being on supply cool down delay when gold fell.

 

I lost at least two golds today because I couldn’t activate armor or speed boost. Literally lost a race to a gold sitting on the ground bc I could not activate speed boost :(

I mult or play softcore first 5 minutes until I get overdrive, Then I drug hardcore. If I hear siren, I run somewhere without enemies, overdrive, and go for gold.

Sounds good but also sounds like it takes time we don’t have with these super fast falling golds.

 

I’m not multimg. I’m definitely playing for the battle. I just need to keep something ready to use when gold drops. So say, play at 50-75% of my non-event strength.
