Also this definitely doesn't seem like 5x Gold drop. In each battle, at least 2-4 gold boxes must drop and right now, in some battles none of them drop. 

I saw a battle with 5 golds  :blink:.

Glad the event is over.  Way too many "gold-mults".

 

Devs - you need to re-think what kind of "special events" that should be implemented.  Many battles are ruined by selfish players just sitting around waiting for 5x gold.

oh no wonder you say that, you r a huge buyer m8 just go and look at your profile and then mine see the difference bettween  non buyer and a buyer.(made sure by checking ur profile).

 

it is much easier said than done. almost 3/4 of your paints are not played with they all say 0 hours played. it is so easy for u guys. you demand crystals, well no problem you can just go and buy -_-   .

Agreed, these events do nothing for those that don't give a damn about golds. Much prefer War in Tanki and double fund type events that give triers something to fight for.

 

I blew out all team battles for the weekend, they were a farce for the reasons mentioned on this topic. Had a field day in DM tho. Got premium from containers and went around smashing up diggers in junk barely-upgraded Hornets, Wasps and Dictators, it was a Duck-shoot. Although I suspect there'll be less DM battles during gold events when Juggernaut mode comes, if it works how I think it does. Loads of diggers jumping in and out of Juggernaut battles hoping to be the guy that gets control of the OP mega-tank from battle start, so they can claim all the golds. This is pure speculation, but is a factor on whether or not Gold events with huge prizes are even feasible in the future.

I think it would be cool to add a catch to the Juggernaut mode: The juggernaut can’t catch golds, and they instead pass through the tank.  This would keep the juggernaut mode balanced during gold drops..  This would also be useful for STGs!

Just because I have a lot of paints, does not mean I have to play with every single paint I have in my garage, I've got my favourite paints and I'm good. Agree. This was probably the worst event I've played in tanki. Way too many dictators or wasps waiting behind buildings till the gold box drops, nor anyone was drugging. I'd say, at least 3-4 out of 10 team members was actually focused winning instead of camping for gold box.

2x Battle funds would have been better. 1.5x for Premium users.
