Cosmonautics Day has landed!

Even if you can't see it happening in battles, it's pretty obvious there's all sorts of hacking happening just by looking at top 100 Gold box caught ratings this week.

 

All you have to do is look at the amount of golds some of them have caught in their entire time on Tanki....and then you can see that a big percentage of those career golds have been caught in the space of the last few days.

They should stop this ASAP... like right now.

 

And players that didn't capture more than few Golds need to be compensated.

Not even joking moderator wicked was legit using ignoretanks today in industrial zone and saying it was lag... when even the mods start using hacks i think its time to download megacheat v7.4.....

Thanks god the Cosmonautics Day has finally over. I don't need to face those hackers. I swear I will not play any game in special events in the future. It is horrible.

do u have some news about the new map? 

or it just won't be added to the game anymore...?

In the last V-Log they said the map wasn't up-to exception, so they gonna make major changes before testing

Maybe try the meteorite without any gold box mark on the ground - so you keep the final landing site unknown till the end. No time for cheater and added luck factor.

This is what I thought it was going to be initially.  This would be fun...look up in the sky when you hear the siren and plot the trajectory.  It should be a longer time between siren and landfall though.  The marked drop site made the mechanic pointless...only swapped dictators for wasp/hornets...still terribly unbalanced.  See a meteor trail across the sky and let all the catchers make a run for it instead of just finding the drop zone and camping.  

 

I didn't care for the meteor mechanic even slightly other than the cool graphic.  I'm very happy it is finished.

I think it was great idea and it's good to see TO playing around with the goldbox mechanics for special events.

Let's hope for more x 10 Gold Events with special gold boxes like this one. normal gold boxes and end this ridiculous speed parade

I agree with some of the sentiment that the first couple of days the gold/container drops were fun.

Then the presence of hackers increased dramatically during the final days.

 

I think the number one thing that TankiOnline could do is to remove the drop target markers.

Others of course have mentioned this idea, but I suggest that this is the first thing that should be done to 'fix' the unfairness.

 

I do not think TO will ever completely get rid of hackers, but removing the drop target markers would go a long ways to improving chances for everyone - hackers/non hackers.

 

During the final days, I did not even try to get the gold unless I was lucky enough to be perfectly situate.  I just loaded up DD and took out as many wasp/hornets as I could.

the speed hackers will stay though cause then they get bigger advantage... they can chase it faster...

Without the marker it will be more luck - which is fine.  Since the maps are designed for 10 vs 10 they are all on the larger size and even speed-hackers won't get there in time unless they are lucky.

 

The meteor coming down should be the only warning.  That way battle continues as usual until the Splash/Explosion.
