I saw that too. And it's cool. Sometimes it can be a big meteor, sometimes a smaller one. It's more "realistic".

Yea it's so realistic how any sized rock crashes into the map at crazy speeds and not much happens besides a big mushroom cloud and a mark which disappears within a minute. :P

The meteorite golds are good for buyers, because they can buy a Wasp or Hornet if they don't have it already just for events like this.

 

Non-buyers that don't have a light hull can forget about gold, and that's one reason this idea shouldn't be implemented.

 

A better idea would be golds that spawn on the ground like those that spawn in tunnels. Or as if aliens are beaming the gold from above.

Edit: Could be laggers too, but I'm just guessing about that. About the speed hackers I'm sure, because they even use that hack to pick up supply boxes.

been trying to battle and it wont let me in tried 4 times and its not happening..just been trying again and now i have tried over 10 times on all my main accounts..

 

also made a video this time around and it took too long to enter into a battle , but once i tried to go in . it kicked me to the battle list to restart to find a battle . will try to get it done this weekend .

I caught a couple last night. I’m not a gold hunter nor am I a dictator user. So just and average Joe where golds are concerned. Trick for me seemed to be a combination of luck and medium maps with teams only about half full.

This is without a doubt the worst thing they have ever done to gold boxes. The meteor pushes tanks too much, when youre trying to drive into the box you just get thrown aside. Only those lucky enough to not be thrown away by the meteor have a chance. The only good thing people have said about this is the lack of dictator piles, but now the drop zone is even more of a giant cluster****. People will lag under your tank and use you as a shield instead of lagging on top of you. The 10 second timer was already a big middle finger to gold hunters, and now this? Theres no balance whatsoever with this meteor drop, but at least those evil dictators are gone, right?

 

I hope this event goes to the deepest depths of hell where last years "space" mode shouldve gone.

The next Matchmaking attempt will not be the same as that one.  I for one look forward to its arrival. Five Magnums won't be in every Silence game and seven Shafts in every one on Brest, for examples.

I'm not making any judgement here, just looking at patterns. It's now all about execution, will see.

Well, if I am a Magnum user and I join Silence with Rico, I just go to garage and change. I agree this will reduce the numbers, but instead of 5, there will be 3 Mags in Silence.
