Tank Underglow Lights

 Share

Recommended Posts

One of my first topics that I am making to help increase the revenue of the devs. This is basically a cosmetic that does not help you improve your performance in battle except that you can look like a true savage.

An underglow light is basically neon lights that glow on the bottom of a car, or in this case a tank. These lights shine on towards the ground causing the ground to glow around the car/tank. Players can use Night/Space mode for full effect.

Example:

2_f9ed8eea-b75e-42f2-81cf-977c4cfb877e_g

Of course, you can't really peak under the tank unless if it is flipped so the lights will also shine on the ground next to the tank. There should be a whole variety of colors, both on the brighter side and the darker side.

I'm not sure about pricing so that will be up for the devs to decide. I expect this to be winnable in containers and a possibility for the lights to be animated.

Nobody would buy such a thing because all enemies would shoot at them constantly. It is like when somebody uses Spectre paint... I killed some of these Spectre guys repeatedly because they look so unique. Players do not distinguish between players with greyish or greenish paint but when they kill a guy with crazy (especially animated) paint they consider him as easy kill and target him. Players do not want to have something that works like a magnet for enemy guns.

... you are sooo wrong on sooo many levels. I use Spark and I don't suck. Everyone at my rank uses Emerald or Inferno or Zeus and they are better than a silly Colonel like you.

Under review

Well, we could just have glowing paints, you know...

Ya but this is like a zillion time cooler, I mean, look at his car!

how . . .

I think he meant that since someone said that he wanted to kill tanks who stand out by their physical appearance, they somehow connected that to racism. But guys, please stop. Racism is still a problem today and is not a joke.

Players often change their hulls and turrets in battle but their paints usually remain the same. When I play Shaft, I distinguish between enemies thanks to their paints. Rarely used paints make it easier for me. There are often 2 or more enemies with the same paint and 1 of them is noob and other 1 is drugger. I want to kill that noob, not that drugger, but I do not know who is who.

This has nothing to do with gameplay, it's just all cosmetics and looking cool. With your argument, you are saying that cool paints like Zeus and Inferno should be cheap because it attracts attention. BTW, you help your team more if you attack the drugger, not the noob.

Glowing animated paints would be better and have more advantage.

I am still waiting to have a gold box animated paint and a Riddler animated paint. Please add them in the game.

It wasn't mentioned if this could be turned on and off. In night mode, it would make dark tanks stand out better. Is this a feature you can see across the battlefield or just as you approach the tank as with the ID/health bar? Would it stand out as bright in night mode as in day mode, or would it be brighter in night mode?

I don't know. I'm on the fence with this one.

It would make tanks stand out better even from across the map. It would be much harder to detect across the map because the angle your POV is to the ground across the map is almost parallel but if you see someone cross map backed under a wall, you can see the wall glow because of the tank.

I'm actually not sure if it would have to literally be brighter in night mode because they can be technically glow in day or night but people would say the night mode version would be brighter because compared to the darkness around, the tank will stand out more as opposed if it was standing under the bright day. But obviously, it would have to be noticeable in day too.

A big buff for Magnum.

Please tell me how someone can back under a wall? Is there a new turret/hull combo I don't know about called a Digger?
