one example... CTF. As soon as one team is up 1 or 2 flags in a short battle it will become a pill-box laced with mines. There will be a lot of those battles ending 2-0. Good luck completing that mission.

 

As well, the first minute or so of many battles is the sorting and positioning - especially on larger maps. 1 or 2 minutes of that on 15 min battle is not impactful. On a 10 minute battle = more impact.

 

You don't think more time is wasted trying to get into and complete 3 ten-minute battles vs two 15 minute battles?

 

Tanki-X has 10-minute battles. Tactic and strategy don't exist. Maybe that's ok with you. For me that's meh.

With the CTF battle example you gave, it'll be better if that battle ends soon, at least for the losing team. Comebacks are very rare these days.

 

I think to do well in MMed battles you need to be good playing multiple roles and have a garage for that.

Does anyone know if there is a way to lose progress on the mission streaks after this update?

when this system starts , if you leave the game for even a week you stay in the same spot you were when you left . so if your at week 3 in the middle , and you leave when you return you will be in the same spot . nothing will change once this changes in the system. in the past if you left you would go back a week . so this will help players who are off to school and need to concentrate on school or other things.

 

hope this makes more sense .

At least, at the very least, the chain should go back one step if you change a mission and don't claim 1 mission that day.

Then that defeats the purpose of this new system. It might as well stay the same then.

With the CTF battle example you gave, it'll be better if that battle ends soon, at least for the losing team. Comebacks are very rare these days.

 

I think to do well in MMed battles you need to be good playing multiple roles and have a garage for that.

Comebacks will be even more rare with shorter battles.

 

And I'm not ok with a battle being decided in first 5 minutes.  Heck, let's make ALL battles 5 minutes and save everyone time.  ;)

better yet lets just not  even have battles , just a chat room seeing the forum has been loosing players also . the only active section is the open / private chat rooms..

Then that defeats the purpose of this new system. It might as well stay the same then.

This is to prevent those mults that will be changing missions looking for easy pick up supply missions or easy missions with only crystal rewards and only playing then. But nonest players would not be affected, they'll not activate this feature because they'll not login just to change a mission.

I am a mult? I change supply missions to crystal missions, and sometimes change flag and rgb missions. I know asl is the best way or flags.

Let me clarify: I talking of the likely mults that will be doing only Pick-Up Supply Missions while multing in battles and not playing when they get mission that require fighting in battles, instead only changing missions in those days.

 

So this would be a feature to prevent abuse and would not affect honest players.

 


 

Mission Chain Reverse Anti Cheating Feature

  • This feature would only activate anytime you change a mission. If you login and not make a mission change it would not affect you.
  • This feature would prevent abuse of the system by using the change mission option and not claiming missions.

Once activated:

  • If you claim at least 1 mission that day you advance normally 1 step of the chain.
  • If you don't claim a mission in that day your chain will be reversed by 1 step.

 

PS: This is an idea for the update if developers still want to implement it as it is. I think there are better options for this update.

I honestly see nothing wrong with farming supply drop missions. It's the only way F2Ps can survive.

Maybe you do it out of necessity, but others do it to have an OP Garage for their rank, and the problem is that they don't care joining losing teams and causing even more pain for that team.

 

With this update cheaters will even make their mult accounts OP and on level with their main accounts, just level 2 or more accounts, play with one and mult with the other, then play with the other and mult with one... and with this idea you'll be ready for Matchmaking. ;)

 

I don't know why I think like a cheater? Maybe it's just my good/bad imagination.

i get your point, and it's valide, but the very dedictaed mults like that are very rare compared to the gold events mults, and since Tanki still not even aware of the problem gold events make, i think you gonna have to wait a LOT longer before the developers see the issue you address.

 

the same thing for getting paints we don't want from containers & rename pass problem...

Yes. You can take all the time in the world to get there and you don't need to complete mission everyday as your progress will be kept.

When does this come into effect?

 

Right now I get 168 of each supply from week 4 which isn't enough. I assume when this update comes into effect I'm going to get almost nothing until I get up to week 10. This game is becoming such a chore and lots of us can easily just not play again...

when you get to the 10 th week and you have to leave.. you will end up stay on the same week level,  when you return.

When does this come into effect?

this starts sometime next week , the full date has not been released just yet

It would be nice if those of us at week 4 were put onto week 10 because the rewards are just the same. It's good that chain progress is frozen but we will miss out on a lot of rewards until we get to week 10.

mission change, what will actually change in the reward. Been on 4+ week s a long time already. Will there be loss in cry, supplies??? Or increase??

 


Yeah also true but don't forget the content of containers, they have most of the time supplies as a content.

I've just realised I have to play 2 months and 2 weeks to get an extra container. 2 months to get an extra container, why are you treating us like lower class people? It feels like, buyers can buy any amount of containers but normal players has to play 2 months for an extra container, this seems really wrong. Plus, the disadvantages were mentioned in the video, why on earth are you including disadvantages in the first place? Why not remove them and make something positive out of it? This whole thing seems so rushed and ugly at the same time. I've never seen any game mentioning about disadvantages and implementing into a game. You have to turn disadvantages into positive outcome if not, don't include it into a game. They have been focusing on juggernut, another useless crap, it looks like circus to me, instead of focusing on the good things they focus on dumb loking juggernut and all I can see is them smiling and laughing how they enjoy that crap but you can see in the video on their faces they look so lost and confused, pretending they know what they are doing when it comes to real and important stuff. 

I agree and also they still don't want to tell us when juggernaut is out..

That would be nice, but at least we do not start from week 0.

I guess they already have been VERY nice with the update of x3 for more than half a year last year. And the update with the added containers.

It's not that they don't want to, it's just that they are not far enough into the development to have a definitive release date.
