Its nice that the mission chains will not lose progress.

But I really hope that they don't decrease the prize of xompleting weeks like 4-5-6 and so on and eventually make same prizes for week 10 like they are in week 4.

you already had a open testing for MM and nobody liked it, why are you trying to push it down our throat again?

10m battles? seriously? what's the point of playing these battles? you guys are dumb, this game will lose its remaining players.

So compared to what we would have got from existing chain system we lose out until we reach week 10....after that we start to make back what we lost out on with an extra weekly container. And in the long term we gain (compared to the current system). Is this correct?

It will be good to be unchained from the mission chain...very good.  My greed has made me keep up with my chain everyday for months and months.  The only break was the New Year debacle.  For me, the ability to skip a day or a week is a great improvement, but I think it may have an impact on the number of players online. 

 

I can't be the only maniacally driven player to be religious about their mission chain.  If we devotees can skip, with no downside, I bet we will...that has to equate to less players online....maybe not overall players of the game, but less players online at one time.  That might even alleviate some of the constantly jam-packed battles...well, until the evil MatchMaking starts.

I'm wondering what my current week 4 will offer in containers and the following weeks:

Assumption if i understood well the V-log plus some incremental reward logic per week:
Week 1 => 0 Container
Week 2 => 0 Container
Week 3 => 0 Container
> Week 4 => 1 Containers instead of 3
Week 5 => 1 Containers
Week 6 => 2 Containers
Week 7 => 2 Containers
Week 8 => 3 Containers
Week 9 => 3 Containers
Week 10 => 4 Containers
 
In that case:
- weeks 4 & 5: lose 2 containers per week (2 x -2 = minus 4),
- weeks 6 & 7: lose 1 containers per week (further minus 2)
- no loss on week 8 & 9
- then get an extra container starting week 10.
I have lost 6 containers and it will take 5 more weeks to level (12 weeks from now = 3 months)

The supplies would be lower as well probably as high as the the old week 2. I use less than i have so it should no be a problem. But I will never recover from the ones I missed.
 
The crystals revenue will be definitely lower and I will never recover from the ones I missed.
 
 
I better try to improve my GB catch skills then!

Another interesting outcome of this mission chain change will be that everyone will be at week ten eventually.  It may take 70 days from the beginning point of no missions completed or completely open-ended...140 days, 365 days, three years (if MatchMaking doesn't kill Tanki in a few months).  Eventually everyone that plays Tanki will get to week 10 and it sounds like we will all stay at week 10.   OK, cool.

 

I'm just very happy about being unchained from the mission chain...that goes a long way to offsetting some of the evil that I foresee coming from MatchMaking.

How many people with ADD are playing this game?

Seriously - stop catering to the lowest common denominator. 

 

If people can't handle 15 min battles, why don't they join at the 10 minute mark.

Neat.

 

So I can spend as long as I want reaching Week 10. I'll maybe do it slowly over a few years. Considering it's taking just as long for Tanki to actually fullfill the promises they make us.

 

Where are XT skins? XTs in containers? The matchmaking system that was promised months ago? Finishing the clan system? The new overdrives you said you were developing? The Juggernaut mode?

 

Get your act together and actually take something through to completion for once. Freezing mission chains might be nice and helpful, but it's not a serious or pressing issue.

No - new week 10  will be equal to current week 4, with an additional containers. So 4 containers for week 10. And then any week after week 10 are identical to week 10.

The man changes are for all the week before week 10.

With the current quick outcome of the battles it is better for the losing team that the game are shorter...

And 10 minutes was announced as part of the changes coming with MM. 33% less risk of being kick out of battles by an internal error and lose the battle found.

I think they need this for MM.  Players are more likely to stay on a losing side if it is only getting slaughtered for five or six minutes of pain as opposed to mass exodus when they know there is ten or eleven minutes of the slaughter left to go until the blowout finishes.  The shortened time also probably interfaces better with the assumed characteristics of the future "phone" player (I bet the mobile device players will be low hanging fruit).

No same as now with current week 4 system.

Week 10 = old week 4 with 4 containers instead of 3 currently

Week 11 = Week 10 (with 4 containers)

Week 12 = Week 10 (with 4 containers)

....

Once you reach week 10 you are blocked to it for life just like Groundhog Day

ok lets not just jump into this lets wait and see . to me if we do get it might only be one till about the 5 week and then 2 till the 9 week and then 3 on the 10th week . which most players will get there soon..seeing most of us are already on week 4

 

 

some of us are on week 4 so the time to get there will be faster then if you stated from week 1

My take is that it will stay at the week 10 level indefinitely.  Week 11; play six days the first week in June, play the seventh day the last week in August and you just completed week 11 and get the same reward you got for week 10.  Complete another seven days of missions over "X" amount of time and get the same reward you got for week 10...ad infinitum

They will, as stated in the V-LOG, the current rewards for week 4 will be the rewards for week 10 after the update (plus one extra container, so 4 instead of 3). Additionally, the rewards for future week 4 (after the  update) will be lower than the rewards for current week 4.

According to what was said in the V-LOG yes.

 

It will be good to be unchained from the mission chain...very good.  My greed has made me keep up with my chain everyday for months and months.  The only break was the New Year debacle.  For me, the ability to skip a day or a week is a great improvement, but I think it may have an impact on the number of players online.

But perhaps players will see playing less as a chore and more as fun again if they can take a break every now and then. Time will tell I guess.

On top of that, battles can actually start from 0:00 because they will be full. Unlike now, where players leave and join at the start of a new battle and it takes a little while for everyone to be ready (I doubt that takes a full 5 minutes though).

Gosh, so cynical :), although by Tanki logic you may be right...hope not.  It should be 4 in the 10th week though so that has to mean 3 for week 9, sure.  Anyway, if we keep grinding missions like we have been for months and months, we are only 42 days away from that sweet extra 10th week container.  We will probably lose few containers as we move towards week 10, but eventually we will come out to the good side of the container count...well, that is if Tanki doesn't go belly up from MatchMaking.

Actually I was nice, because if you take the text literally, week 10 should be the same as week 4. Consequently it will be in theory only when you reach 3 containers for the first time and this is a more balanced time proposal of 3 weeks to pass before you get an extra containers (sadly the worst option for us):

Week 3 => 0 Container
> Week 4 => 1 Containers instead of 3
