I do love many articles in the AWS.  sometimes don't show it as I feel that the like button doesn't always cover everything I have to say.

I can see that, I had meant to say you rarely or never press the like button on AWS topics. I agree too, the like button is often insufficient.

We do, but sometimes we don't want to post too much for fear of spamming.

Anyway, I think that's what happened, a mod "liked" it while it's still wherever articles go while waiting to be approved. I think this happened to me once before when I only had a few articles up.

Yep, happened March 7 with Blackdrakon. He was looking at it, "liked" it, but got interrupted and didn't approve it. He fixed it when I pointed it out to him.

I got a notice that someone liked my last upload, Molly's Chapter 6. The odd thing is that it doesn't seem tobe approved. If I click on the link within the notification, I get a

Your article needs to be approved by the competent mult reporter in charge of this section.

The article is not approved but any mod with view right can read it and like it (if they like it).

Looking back through some older posts, I came across a reference to the AWS Skype group. Please, tell me more!

Since the old FAQ topic is horribly bugged for some reason, I'll just quote you here.

 

So... yes, there's an AWS Skype group (Spamchat, Spamland, or Spamville as it was called back in the day :lol:) for people of the AWS. Or at least there was. I haven't been in that group for well over half a year, maybe more than a year actually, so I don't really know whether it exists. There's also an AWS Discord chat, though unofficial. You could ask Magenta or kais to be added.

It's nothing complicated. Basically, you write your articles and then post them here (in the main AWS section). The AWS helpers will then review them and if they meet the requirements, they approve the articles so everyone can see them. You can find all the information in the pinned topics of this section.
