Yeah I'll probably spend more time in forum since TO weakened my firebird M1 10/10 and made it a joke.

Firebird actually got a buff...

Also, do stack up on grammar-ninja skills.

I'm pretty good with grammar already but i still need work on commas.  Well, firebirds damage is nothing to brag about.  My M1 10/10 is now a M1 and M0 is like a M-1.  And freeze stealing your thunder will be annoying.  You can't depend on afterburn, but the devs want you to.

Questions how to be an awesome writer? :x

U go to ze library, you grab ze book that looks good, proceed by placing your hand on top of the cover, gently hook it with your thumb and lift it open and read. It may be hard at first, but you'll get there. As the old man said, practice makes perfect.

In all seriousness though, nothing will sort out grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and prose like reading does. Also, the more you write the better you become. Look for the particular style or genre that YOU like. If you aren't writing with passion, know that the topic you've chosen isn't for you. Everyone struggles at first, but the struggle is an indication of growth. What doesn't challenge you, doesn't change you.

The topic and the title are one of the most frustrating part.

Ever heard of the "Don't judge a book by its cover"? It's the exact opposite for me, I go for the best-looking book, not too thin but not too thick either. I usually get attached to the colorful books, especially ones with pictures.

total_skill, I guess I don't put much grammar stuffs into my posts, but I'm pretty good with grammar when in AWS topics.  But people don't want to read your articles and see a display of grammar skills.  They want to be entertained.  Which is what I'm not good at.

I meant when writing an article. .-.

As for my taste in literature, history for the win.

Yeah, you can't really read a book and then buy it. There often is nothing but the cover to judge a book by.

Just keep on writing, and listen to the feedback people give. Take even the harshest of criticisms positively, take them in as a way to improve. Actively seek critical feedback. Those who say you write well are your enemies.

There is no guide to being a better writer. The only way to improve, at anything, is to think of yourself as trash, but at the same time not give up.

Might wanna watch this:

Agreed, you need people to read them. Without the readers, you won't get any feedback. You must also understand that most of your work will suck at first, and some will never be read. Luckily for you, this platform is moderated. Good writers read and critique it giving you valuable feedback. Then focus on writing anything, even a paragraph a day will do. Then send something but don't expect it to be posted right away, be patient and write something else whilst they look for feedback.

Or get critique partners

k thx

a question to all news ppl.  What has happened to Ch.2?  Pls don't tell me that i didn't publish it bc that would be really dumb.

Patience, friend. The reporters may be very busy and unable to proofread lots of articles - they have a life after all. At worst case people may have to wait over two weeks. But it'll be published, don't worry.
