Remove Damaging teams option in pro battles

Recommended Posts

Oh you shouldn't have asked that question. Prepare for a paragraph on the only reason. It's not used.

Just because it's not frequently used doesn't mean that no one plays in it.

Like I said a couple posts back, it may not be used all the time, but the option is there when we want to try a new difficulty in battles. Plus it's good practice for e-sports players.

And don't give me that balcony crap of an excuse of sabotage. Hell, I'll answer with the fact that the players that do the sabotage are the problems themselves, not the option.

We already posted the reasons, and we are not saying to completely remove it, it can stay for Clans and eSports.

And we all know what tanki online does to people who sabotage their team with friendly fire.

hint: its nothing

There arent enough active battle mods to moderate these battles, people are free to kill whoever they want. Games with this option on are a complete mess.

"never used"< ok Mr.Ignorant, it's used in nearly all eSports matches because it ensures people don't shoot indiscriminately, and makes it a more realistic combat scenario.

And also, why is removing it a good use of time? If you dont like it, dont use it.

Hi, I watch your videos, thanks for your feedback!

True, but I think it's better to discourage players from sabotaging their own team when friendly option is on, than to just remove it all together. But until that happens, it's best to avoid public battles with this option on and just play with your friends in private battles.

There should be a flag for it on the battle-list - make it easier to not join those battles.  A lot to look at in determining to join or not, and this one should really stand out.

That's a good idea, there could also be a warning for battles with this option, like the warning for parkour. There should be warnings for Autobalance Off and Autofinish Off too. Painting those battles red could also help.

One of the issues here is that we have too many options to remember and check on battles before joining, and the icons for these options are very small.

When matchmaking is introduced and PRO battles become the battle list a lot of those options should be removed, and there could be a pass to create and play battles with these abusable options so they are not abused and only those that really need it use it, like Clans or groups of friends that want to practice for esports. Like that there could even be more options, but they will not be affecting regular battle list players.

It is not useless, E-sport players uses this function in many battle formats. As e-sport play a sizeable part of Tanki Online this option is very unlikely to be removed.

E-sports were never a sizeable part. No one even watches it except who plays it. I remember when there was an E-sport section in V-log and everyone used to skip it. No one gives a damn about E-sports, all we care about is OUR experience in the game. And when I say OUR, I mean 99.999999% of the players. But Esports? I don't think they occupy a percentage of the players.
