my missions will be done way faster :)

Are you deluded? How can they be done faster in 10 mins lol, there is no difference between 10 and 15 mins, although 15 mins has more advantage for missions, giving you more time to get kills/XP/collect boxes and especially cap flags. Don't come with your non-sense here.

IMPORTANT: If you’re on the last level of the current mission chain (Week 4), then after the update you will remain on the same week -- Week 4. When you complete the weekly chain, you will get the rewards for Week 4 of the new system.

Players who are at week 4 should be put on week 10 after the update...

I agree. Those of us who have already reached and maintained week 4 rewards should be put at week 10 (or at least 9) with the update.

Not the end of the world and not a basis for rage/hate. But it would have been nice if Tanki had kept players in the earnings bracket they are at today. It would have also been nice if the update took into account how many week players have been at level four and adjusted us accordingly.

It will be a good experiment for me as I'm planning to take a break or at least play less. I still think the chain update is bad for the game and it has exploitable weaknesses.

I'm not sure about the battle time change. Fighting for the Top 3 will be harder if you join after battle has started, and completing other missions could take two battles instead of one, but if you don't have time and don't complete them that day you can do so the next day or the next year. See, I'm the first to say year instead of month.

On the other hand, since most battles are one sided, why not end it early to stop the abuse.

And don't feel bad about leaving battles early on. If the battle is one sided and you leave, others may leave too and the battle ends. If you stay and fight hard, others may stay, but only to lose at the end and to only get the ridiculous reward. That way you could be doing more harm than good to your team mates. Remember that mostly noobs join the losing team.

Good news for players who plays tanki sometimes but bad news for players who is daily active for reward.

I think tanki need to do something interesting for daily active players because after this updates, players who active daily.....they get same reward as other players.

Friday is my weekly reward day.  Even though I will lose out on one container and, apparently, some crystals & supplies, I am very happy to see this update.  It has the potential to make Tanki FUN again.

In fact, my daughter says she will start playing Tanki again now that the mission chain is cumulative and open ended.  She stopped playing Tanki when they nerfed the turrets (she played Vulcan R.I.P).

Personally I think I will like the 10 minute battles, but I can see where many players will hate them.   I think it would have been better to leave them at 15 minutes.  I guess they are doing this to interface with the dread MatchMaking silliness.  Tanki is sure putting a lot of their eggs in the MatchMaking basket...and it is such an ill conceived idea.

So....At last i can say how i feel about these updates:

Now lets start with mission chains:

BAD

Reason is i feel like these 2 advantages are just excuses for another bad update like sure i don't mind 1 more container for being active but knowing that you cannot lose your progress in mission chains is just bad.

The whole point of mission chains is to give players who are ACTIVE a reward for doing there missions every single day.

Now people may say: "what about if we go on a vacation or our internet goes out for 2 days or 3". 1st If you are going on a vacation you gonna have the mobile version soon and you can play from there. 2nd Your internet cant be that bad that sometimes it goes off for 2 to 3 days + when mobile version comes out you can use mobile data to finish your mission.

Now 10 min battles:

OK

I feel like people should not only one time of battles. It would be cool if Developers thought about making a reality to have multiple battle duration like maybe i don't have time and i just wanna finish my mission and i wanna find a 5 min battle or for example i have a whole day and i wanna play a 1 hour battle. would be cool

In conclusion i think Developers could of have made these 2 updates ALOT better but it is what it is

weekly chains - 3,5/10

10 min battles - 6/10

What will happen if I completed week 4 today? Will I start from week 5 tomorrow?

No so more pain for you  :(

It will be a good experiment for me as I'm planning to take a break or at least play less. However I still think the chain update is bad for the game.

I'm not sure about the battle time change. Fighting for the Top 3 will be harder if you join after battle has started, and completing other missions could take two battles instead of one, but if you don't have time and don't complete them that day you can do so the next day or the next year. True, but still i feel like mission chains should give players some kind of maybe bonus reward to the additional reward for being active every single day now, then i think this update could be great

i think i like this update but it will be more good to add more drugs :/

Ummmm, Yes and No,

Yes - to beat buyers

No - More drug wars

I don't agree. I know someone who has made an acc 4-5 weeks ago, and has just collected today his first 4th week reward. If he gets immediately put into week 10 tomorrow, won't he be lucky instead? Players who have made it to week 4 and stayed on week 4 for ages can clearly make it to week 10 within less than 3 months, and over 3 months if they decide to take it slow.

Players who are at week 4 should be put on week 10 after the update...
Affirmative - One of the reasons why this update is annoying + people who were week 4 for a very long time should get an additional reward for doing mission every single day

At least it appears I'll still get two containers tomorrow. I was worried it would be lowered to one or even zero for week 4.
Alot of people would leave cause alot of them were active for a long time so yeh.....

this is not new to older players which we did have back in 2014 which we all enjoyed ..the only thing wrong with up dates is having battles for only 10 minutes in regular battles , we enjoy 15 minutes battles this will kill your fan base of players . just do your research on tanki X really since match making joined you have less players actually playing the game , sure you have a bunch registered like me with 3 accounts and seldom do play now ..cause I hate the 10 minutes battles.. which I now no longer can choose.. which is soon to be the thing happening in tanki .

. bad move tanki kill match making..

MM has good sides and bad sides -
Good Sides - removal of the pro battle pass
Bad Sides - EVERYTHING
Check my reply if you wanna see what i thought about 10 min battles

Very nice, I will be definitely playing Tanki more often now. Before I didn't bother to try to complete missions chains because I knew I wouldn't be able to complete them anyway. Now I know that even if I miss a day I'm still working towards a reward, and that encourages me to actually play the game.

Can't wait for 10 minutes games, hurry the nef up and update the wiki, as I cannot figure out how yall be going to smoothly integrate 2 containers at week 4 into 4 containers at week 10.
something like this perhaps:
week 1 - 0 containers
week 2 - 1
week 3 - 1
week 4 - 2
week 5 - 2
week 6 - 3
week 7 - 3
weeks 6-9 will have 3 containers as well?? You should have made it so weeks 9 and 10 have 5 containers.
I Agree but little change
only week 10 should have 5 containers and week 8 and 9 should have 4
Like people who were active now have to get less rewards for 5-6 weeks to get only one more container on week 10 with basically same cry and drug rewards. which is pretty bs

I predict something more like this:

Week 1 - 0 containers
Week 2 - 1
Week 3 - 1
Week 4 - 2
Week 5 - 2
Week 6 - 2
Week 7 - 3
Week 8 - 3
Week 9 - 3
Week 10 - 4

Nah, 5 containers would be too much. Very nice to think about but, nah, unneeded. I've already got more than enough supplies and crystals on this acc, hence why I initially took a break on doing daily mission chain. Should've seen this coming so I could've taken a break tomorrow instead of 2 weeks ago..

Still people who were active will get less rewards for 6 weeks for basically same rewards just + 1 container
Maybe if people who do there mission every single day would get some kind of additional bonus then it would be good

Still weekly chains were suppose to be a bonus not a thing which from where you will for sure get a reward

Maybe they were. But consider the situation now: the more often you enter the game, the faster you will get a reward. So in a sense it still is a bonus, as you have to enter the game every day if you want to get the most out of the system. The idea of missions and mission chains was to reward active players. That still is the case with the new system, but with the added perk that quality of life is better. The guy that plays every day is going to get to week 10 after 6 weeks, while the guy that plays a few times a week is going to take several months to reach the final stage.

Let's not forget that before missions and missions chains, we had daily gifts. And the majority of the crystals / supplies (for me at least) come from missions themselves, and not end of the week rewards.

I guess but people can do there week 10 in 2 weeks and maybe people who do there missions every single day they should get more rewards or something like that Edited by Maf
