No, you won't.  If you end your week after the server update, you will get the new chain reward tomorrow and you will move on to the next week (5 in your case). However, if you finish your week before the server update, you will be at the beginning of week 4 again tomorrow.  Impossible

ok :)

It'll take like forever to reach Week 10 >_<

I think they realized it became rather 'easy' to get till week 4  :/

The only good thing that makes people overlook this update is the fact that we wouldn't lose our mission chain even if we miss a day or two :3

I think this update makes it generally easier to reach the last week, because now anyone can do it, whether it be active or more casual players. While before, only the active ones could reach and maintain the last week.

LOL players now play only for doing missions, not for have fun... devs is this that you've wanted? Battles are 90% one-sided, because nearly everyone want to make missions as fast as possible and use supplies like crazy, and those in the losing team leave because you get a ridiculous reward... I say it again, with the latest (and future) updates tanki has become a join-make mission-exit game, the old, fun, long and challenging battles are only a memory :(

With this update, missions become less of a chore, so perhaps playing will become more fun again for those players since the pressure is off.

You dont understand what im trying to say but kk lol

We understand what you are trying to say. As an active player, you want some sort of advantage over not-so-active players. You will still have an advantage. As an active player . . . .

  • It will take you less time to reach week 10
  • You will get end-of-week rewards more often, increasing your overall income
  • You will get rewards from missions every day, again increasing your overall income

You still get rewarded, just not as much. So let us weigh the pros and cons:

Pros: better for casual players, you don't lose your mission chain if you miss a day so you are not literally "chained" to the game, better rewards for active players at week 10

Cons: active players get slightly less of an advantage over less active players

So why are you complaining? It's not because you get fewer rewards overall, but because you have less of an advantage over other players. Can we take a moment to NOT try to be better than everyone else? If you were the only player in the game, I think you would welcome this update. But because there some sort of need to compete with others, even if that competition is really a matter of personal pride rather than true economical competition, you are not so thrilled over the update. At least that is my take.

One thing I do not understand: If I am in the fourth week of the fifth day and can not log in for 1 week, will I lose the week and return to the first week? or will I continue on how many weeks of the fifth day?

Somebody answer me,please

You will not lose anything once the new system comes out.

I have a very important question, tomorrow I'll end my 5 week streak and get my 3 containers, does that mean after update I'll be still in a week 4? Or as I ended my week 4 I'll be in week 5 next day?

This is a very good question...I'm in the same boat.

On Friday, I'm pretty sure we will finish week 4 after we claim a mission and if we decide to claim one more mission, we will have one day into week 5 which will complete next Friday if we keep up with claiming at least mission every day.

After the update, you won't lose your progress. So if you can't play for a week, you will still be in week 4, day 5.

No

You'll only get half the rewards with 2 containers, but you'll start Week 5 after tomorrow.

Nice.

This mission change update is really good for player like me who can't play game daily but can play several days in a week.

There could have been better solutions for your problem.

They DO! They can claim mission rewards every day.

He/she said additional not faster.

Reading this topic I think that everyone is thinking about missions, me too because is the only way to be competitive here.

wow, now as soon we reach week 10 we stay there forever ? that's amazing !

but it's an OP system, i doubt tanki will keep it for more than two years, they will edite it later i'm sure.

the 10 min update is good, because the result of most non pro battles are actually determined way early than 10 min.

That's not an advantage, that's just doing it faster.

But there's actually a disadvantage for daily players, they only get one free Mission Change, while others can change Missions more than once in more days and only play when they have the Missions they want, some will even want to only play pick up supply missions and mult.

Probably yes, but because you can take a break without losing the chance to stay competitive, players can be a bit more relaxed. They can take a break when they have an off day, with no good battles. And instead of getting mad about it, they shake if off and try again the next day.
