Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

That's not an advantage, that's just doing it faster.

 

But there's actually a disadvantage for daily players, they only get one free Mission Change, while others can change Missions more than once in more days and only play when they have the Missions they want, some will even want to only play pick up supply missions and mult.

It's an economic advantage. More rewards in the same length of time.

 

I have no idea who in their right mind would do that, but those people are at a disadvantage too. If they only complete missions they like, they complete them less often and are in an even worse economical position. That problem, if one can even call it a problem, can be easily remedied by removing the ability to change missions.

I don't think ability to change missions would ever be fully removed, they are useful. New daily mission system is no excuse to remove the ability to change missions. However, the idea to not have a free change per day can probably be considerable.

That's a good thing, because otherwise you would get a smaller reward if you completed it tomorrow.

the 10 min update is good, because the result of most non pro battles are actually determined way early than 10 min.

Yes because one team is full of druggers and the other not...

Week 1-3= 1 container

Week 4-6=2 containers

Week 7-9= 3 containers

Week 10= 4 containers

In a 10 minute battle, the battle fund won't be as big as if it were a 15 minute battle.

 

Just a little heads up.

The battle fund will be around 1500-2000 then.

now you're actually gonna make everyday-day players not play anymore for sometime..

Or more like... now players can play 30 min of PRO battles instead of non-PRO?

 

I feel like there's a lot of advantages lost in the panic of such update. This new system makes us less needing to play non-PRO battles daily, because the chain will stay where it is. Yes, there will be people not playing tanki in general daily. But there will also be people that will probably play PRO battles instead in those 10-30 minutes they got per day (or more if you got more time). And that will happen even more when the PRO battle pass will be gone. Imagine how beneficial this is, in a time when people used to complain about non-PRO battles... It seems like some people have already forgotten.

What's not to like. Shorter battles in Non-Pro is a plus. Also the weekly mission change is an awesome idea. Especially for us paying customers.  ;)

Reading this topic I think that everyone is thinking about missions, me too because is the only way to be competitive here.

But eventually everyone will be getting the same rewards for the same amount of completed daily missions.

 

The advantage that daily players had to stay competitive with buyers and have a good advantage over non daily players is being removed, because now even casual buyers will be getting the same rewards.

 

It's based on how players (the masses (that's how the world works)) perceive the update, the reality is that Tanki doesn't want to give an advantage to daily players anymore. Whether if that's good or bad for economic balance, I don't know,: and for increasing or decreasing the player base, I'm not sure either.

 

If you're a daily player feel free to take a break, it was addictive to do Daily Missions and do good in battles, I have two very good accounts because of it with which I can play casually now. You can enjoy your hard work casually.

 

My other issue with this update is that eventually all will have the chance to have a good amount of supplies, and that's when virtually everyone will be drugging non stop, and that will be a horrible gameplay, at least for me.

The tankers that are on week 4 should be able to get higher!!


Or they should just keep getting the same reward for week 4.


 


The players that dont do their missions everyday will be able to get on week 10 easy smh


 


Tanki will now lose a lot of active players. 


 


I CANT RESTART MY MISSION CHAIN BECAUSE YOU MADE THE NEW UPDATE THAT IF YOU DONT DO UR MISSIONS FOR A DAY, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. THAT MEANS EVERYONE THAT IS ON WEEK 4 WONT BE ABLE TO GET TO WEEK 10. SO STUPID. MANY PLAYERS WILL LEAVE BECAUSE OF THIS.. BUT I DIDNT DO MY MISSIONS TODAY YET SO I JUST WONT DO THEM TODAY AND ILL BE ON WEEK 3 TOMMOROW.. THEN I HOPE I WILL BE ABLE TO GET TO WEEK 10.. CUZ BOI, IF IM STUCK ON WEEK 4 IM LEAVING THIS PAYTOWIN GAME

i'm on week 4 too, and i agree it is a bit unfair. i also agree tank will lose players

I'm just wondering, is it possible to make a comeback in 10 mins? It's barely possible with 15 mins. 

Doubtful.  easier to protect lead (in CTF for example) in a shorter battle.

Get ahead by flag or two?  Button down the hatches and just slaughter the incoming tanks.  Defenders will just be padding their score (and crystals)

This is an absolutely appalling update. It seems the tanki devs are determined to undermine themselves and end up with less people playing.

10 minute battles?? what a joke........

And no penalty for not completing chains.....yep, I for one will not feel the need to finish a mission on 10+ accounts every day to keep the chains going so I (and no doubt a lot of others) will not be playing anywhere near as much.

And as for the matchmaking idiocy, well, I think I have said enough about that.....no one at tanki HQ is listening anyway.

If a WO1 does 4 Week 10s in a month before ranking up and another does 4 Week 10s in 6 months before ranking up, aren't both in the same economic and ranking position? where is the advantage? except for doing it faster.

Hello tankers. I am so thrilled to hear the good news about the release of the 10 week mission chains and the 10 minute battle time limit that was set up deliberately as a preparation for the upcoming matchmaking system.

 

I am also delighted to hear about the 1 extra container that players will earn in week 10 of their mission chains. I also expect week 10 of the mission chains to include 10,000 crystals prize reward, rather than the current 8400 crystals prize reward which is now too small for week 10. By the way, will player have more mission types, because there are not many choices of missions.

 

I hope that all you tankers from all over the world will like and enjoy this new update as much as I do.

 


One more thing. Are there any bug fixes to the game?

I've been on week 4 for a long time... easily 8 months to 1 year. I played occasionally but didn't want to break the chain. For me this update is not too bad. I finish the chain on Mondays so I assume I will be on week 5 next week. It's about ~90 less of each supply but I will just play less.
