Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

Will be starting week 5 tomorrow. :D

 

Did think I'd start Week 5 this week because I completed my chain before Server Restart, I thought I'd start Week 4 again but I was wrong.

Not good idea.

 

Can't catch gold in parkour battles, and those are the most fun things, especially in space more.

The 50 EXP requirement could only be for Regular battles.

Consider a longer time frame of about 100 weeks, and do the math, and see which system gives more containers, if you do missions everyday.

You're legend and been playing this game since 2016, so I presume you're used to playing regularly.

 

Instead of looking at the short run (next 6 week period), think long term.

Now that it is 5 flags in an entire battle, a mission "Capture 0/3 flags" seems a bit unreasonable.

 

Also the reduced time and number of flags yields exactly the same results as before except now the outcome is determined by the first flag captured.  The team that didn't cap the 1st flag starts to bail and it turns into a blowout.

Great update,I can finally stop worrying about losing the chain,but I have 1 question. You explained that at legend rank at week 4 you'd get 4800 crystals,well what about lower ranks? Is the reward decreased? If so by how much? You cannot make the mission chain continuous but lower the rewards in crystals so much.

I encountered good even battles today, but I had to play more battles to complete missions, taking account time, I just finished a battles 3-2 and the previous one 2-1. I think more time too. But it's just starting now, let's see how players play when they learn more things about it.

 

I played like I used to do, I think once I complete a my Weeks I may take a break with one or two accounts. I'm also seeing if there are no issues before I take a break.

 

EDIT: Just got into a battle that started even and the other team was about to capture the first flag, then after we captured the first flag they were about to make it even, but we captured the second, then the best player in that team left and it turned into a one sided battle that ended 5-0 in less than 6 minutes, I even had a chance to pick up supplies, did the flag mission and finished top 3. I think it's good that it finished early because there was no chance for that team after the third flag, even if the battle was 15 minutes I think. The problem is that players leave when the other team gets ahead in the score, and it's usually good players that leave. You can't blame these players, many times it's a smart move to leave.

Mission update is a very good move. And the 10 minute battle time is a dumb decision ever. That would of course give a enormous advantage to the team in lead and losing team will hardly have time to compete and that would kill ASL mode coz everyone knows defending team(blue) wins most of the ASL matches and this 10 min advantage will give it a rocket boost wins. Specially ASL is already a flop mode, why make it much worse. And matchmaking would mostly put us in a almost ending battles with this 10 min battles update which is no fun at all and etc etc etc.

Are the Russian servers getting the same updates?

 

 There are no Russian severs. The European cluster (RU, DE, PL, FA, EN) servers are all located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. That means all players you face in battles or see in the lobby are playing from the same servers you are. Consequently, updates happening for you happen for all those players. 

It looks like the crystal rewards for Week 10 are the same as they were for Week 4 before this update.

 

Meaning, after the update our crystal rewards will be much reduced from what they were.

Yes, that was announced in the V-LOG as one of the (temporary) downsides of the update.

Everyone is complaining about the 10-week thing and missing the whole point...

 

Yes, it will suck to get to week 10. However, once you get there, you'll permanently be at week 10. Meaning no matter how many days you miss you'll maintain your progress at week 10 which you can re-do for any number of times. This is, in my opinion, a fair deal.

 

PS: Idk if this had been said earlier in the topic (it probably was) but just in case some people missed it.
