I know, but what if you get a paint instead?

 

The answer is, you don't earn any supplies nor crystals in the fourth container.

Container is almost the same as a lottery ticket, you get what you get. 

 

Answer is, you can't predict future and know what you will get in the forth container.

Is it possible to choose what reward you can obtain from containers?

 

It would be good if containers could allow players to choose what reward they want.

Hmm, lets see.. Ill take all the animated paints, then the legendary paints, then Ill just get 25000 crystals or premium. See the problem? And, as kisses-and-hugs said ( :ph34r: ), the point of containers is that they function as a random reward.

Here's an example of why the Pro game section fails to provide the variety people just assume it does provide:

When Matchmaking come in everyone will be able to use this section. But I doubt much will change.

 

70+ mapsd to chose from and this is what you see every day. Only a half dozen are actually used.  At least basic battles use 20 maps.

I wonder what you would see though if current system kicked everyone out of the map that just finished and that battle no longer existed.

 

Would be nice to have the best of both worlds - being able to pick a map from battle-List, and not having the same maps (Brest, Highways, etc) continuously in use.

 

We don't yet know what the threshold is for time-elapsed in battle on re-population.  I'm hoping it's not more than 3 min...

That is an interesting question I've never considered. Hmm . . .

 

Also will people leave battles quite so readily after say 1 or 2 flag caps? If you might just be sent back to the same battle will ppl just try staying al ittle longer?  I think the psychology might change too.  And of course if the battle fund distribution is changed being a the losing side would not be an utter waste of time.

 

Please make week 10 for Legend players with a reward of 10,000 crystals.

Please understand that the current rewards for week 10 are too small.

The maximum award will be bigger than it is now and you still want more. The fact the maxi is reched at wk 10 does not mean you get more stuff free. The max is the max.  

 

The extra container is good but does not always reward players with crystals.

No but on average the value of one container is worth about 9,000 Cry in cash and supplies.  That assumes paints are worth nothing.

 

So you will getting 9,000 - 1,600 = ~7,500 more income per week than you do now but you still whine whine whine. Why stop at 10,000 Cry. Why not whine for 100k / week or a million?  Pfft.

I know that the reward is a bit higher than before, but I find it unfair for week 10 to have 8400 crystals. For week 4, before the update, 8400 crystals was fine. Now, for week 10, that must change from 8400 to 10,000 crystals.

 

Last year, I remember how good it was when players have X3 mission chains. Legends like me used to earn 14,000 crystals per week. That was amazing. Because of the extra crystals, I saved up X3 times as much as before so I managed to buy all M3 turrets and M3 hulls during a 50% discount. That was the best crystals earning I ever made and the best purchase as well.

It's unfair for Week 10 compared to what other Week?

I know that its unfair for week 10 to be compared as week 4 before the update.

 


At the moment, I am on week 6 of my mission chain.

The 10 minute battles are perfect. However, sometimes these shorter battles finish too quickly because the maximum of flag and ball captures are only 5 instead of 10.

 

In DM mode the maximum number of kills is 50, and that is also too short as well. Previously, DM battles had a maximum number of 100 kills, and that was better because players sometimes make more than 50 kills in DM and TDM battles.

 

Please chance the limit of kills and flag/ball capture back to the following limits.

 

1. DM - 100 kills maximum limit.

 

2. TDM - 100 kills maximum limit.

 

3. CTF - 10 flags maximum limit.

 

4. CP - 100 points maximum limit.

 

5. RGB - 10 balls capture maximum limit.

 

6. ASL - 100 points and flags capture maximum limit.

 

This will be much better and 10 minutes standard battles will not end too early.

This is meant to end blowouts quickly. Frankly, I dont want to sit around while the enemy teams captures 10 flags, and I dont see what advantages there would be if it was changed back. If you have any, let me know.

The advantage to change the 5 flag and ball limit back to 10 again is to make sure that battles don't end too quickly. Some 10 minute battles end only 5 minutes time.

 

For 10 flag battles, you would need to make sure your team is well equipped and keeps on fighting and fighting the enemy until victory.

The current non-pro goals have been put in place to see how it goes, they are subject to possible change, as said by Hazel during the livestream (basically they are not final yet). I don't think 10 flags is good, neither is 5 flags good, maybe 6-7 flags is better for CTF mode. TDM should stay the same, and DM should be back at 100 kills for anyone that likes a challenge or wants to self-dominate a battle. As for the other modes, I have no opinion yet because I've not tried them out extensively enough.

Morbid curiosity perhaps?

 

Years back on one weekend, I remember renting a movie to watch. I can't remember the name of it but it was so so bad. Every 5 minutes I felt like switching it off and doing something else but there was something there that kept me watching it. I'd say to myself, it's got to get better in a minute - it'll get better in a minute. I ended up watching the whole thing. I was hoping for some kind of positive change but it never came. I felt robbed.

 

Whoever directed it knew how to keep your bum on your seat. It was the suspense that something good might eventually come. It was such a downer.

That's exactly why I occasionally pop back in. Morbid curiosity. When I started playing the game in 2012 there was over 100000 playing during peak periods. I've watched and played it all these years. Now the game is having a hard time even breaking 30000. There used to be a time when there was almost 20000 playing when the server reset, now it's around 2000. I've barely played since I left over a year ago and Pony Tail Boy the dev's still don't listen as player after player leaves. The game continues to hemorrhage and all that Pony Tail Boy and the dev's can come up with is gimmicks, dumbing down the game and begging for people to do their advertising for them with their YouTube channels. Plus throw on top of that all the promises that they never keep.  And don't give me the argument that the game is tired and old. If that is so, why are you, the reader of this post still here. It's because you recognize the afterglow of this game's former glory and even now hope that it can still be saved. But like I said Pony Tail Boy and the dev's think they know better and don't listen to the Tanki community anymore. So I'll go get the popcorn and watch a once great game die. Just out of morbid curiosity of course.

The reason why my suggestion is better is because battles lasts longer.

Trouble is, longer battles aren't better for everyone. Sometimes you might be having a dull battle and you'd want it to end quickly. Many games have 10 minute matches because it a sweet spot for everyone.

 

Week 6 gonna give this? Crap

That's the way it is now. Once you get to week 10 you'll be back to normal rewards and it will be even better since you can miss out one or two days. 4 weeks isn't particularly long in terms of mission chains.

the issue is why should we all have to build up to it , when most of us are way past week 10 in finishing missions. since when they first started most have been doing them weekly and seldom have missed . is what most of is not impressed with.

I've been doing my chain for 10 months so even I was disappointed with the decision. But my point is its not really worth worrying about, theres all sorts of possible reasons as to why they decided to do this. It may be too complicated to check back and verify that players have kept their chains going for long enough.

That player who were at week 4 should be terminated to week 10. We getting less stuff just to get 1 more freaking container.
