Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

I'm not saying a player that doesn't play for weeks should be put back to Week 1, I'm saying the player would only lose the steps of that Week. If a player has reached Week 10, then that player should stay in Week 10 forever.

 

Those that had one or more steps of a Week would get compensated with a full Week reward when they come back, but then they'd also learn that if they want chain rewards they would have to play frequently from then on.

They want to target the audience of non-addicted players also. Any problems?

I like the new system and I don't want to lose any chain if I skip a day or even weeks at a time.

Some people can't play frequently. If you given them less rewards, then they might not even back.

Explains pretty well how numbers have been falling.

I think they are fine, since tanki is pay 2 win literally and non buyers, needs containers and drugs faster and easier so...Tanki isn’t being “too” nice their trying to balance the game out for buyers and non buyers

as from a buyers point of view . I find its still not fair for non-buyers . see the last time I bought any drugs kits was when we had them in the garage . since then I only buy on sales promo packages . I'm so loaded with drugs I'm never out... so how will this ever be fair to non-buyers.

 

also these containers give me also more free drugs , it should be based on what is in our garages more then random items.. such as if I have over 34 k in mines why give more what we should get is items such as paints or a discount on turret or hulls , other items.. or base it on the items used per day but given a percentage of them , giving back some but not all.. this way if we need to buy then buyers will put more money back into the game ..

 

 

. the only way to is to change the destruction tank experience thing.. for example if using drugs and u kill someone instead of a full  kill shot maybe reduce it to 3/4 strength , compared to someone with no drugs used they get full experience for kills

( I think TX has something like it ) is only give half experience to a tank if you get only part of the tank killed.. for example . if a player is battling with another tank and he dies before  his enemy.. then another tank comes along and finishes him off.. they should only get part experience instead of a full kill.. giving this player who just killed the other half killed tank more time to need to kill another player to get a full kill .. hope this makes sense.. also reduce the after burn on  freeze and fire .. seeing no other tanks have it and it gives unfair advantageous to others .

You are assuming that everyone that played daily to maintain their mission chains was addicted, I think that's wrong. I think many played daily to stay competitive.

Please release an update to improve the friends list. My friends list has more than 1000s of friends which has not played for many years. Please release an update so that friends that have not played for 3 months or more gets removed from the friends list.

You can't have 1000s of friends because the limit is 300.

I definitely agree with you there. Considering the amount of supplies being used in battles, and the whole idea of supplies being purchasable consumables, which provide a source of additional power, allowing players to easily gain more supplies (and crystals to buy supplies) whenever they log in and play the game definitely helps balance the game and reduce the P2W aspect of it.

 

I think the term "too nice" isn't as appropriate here. I just feel like devs should have done something different, since making mission chains unbreakable almost ruins the while idea of mission chains, since now once you reach week 10, it just becomes a constant weekly reward that you collect if you play regularly. Not that I'm complaining  :P

I think the freezing of mission chains was long overdue as tanki has lost scores of casual players. I think extending the chain to 10 weeks was a mistake though, especially since there is no change in reward except for +1 container.

Well, they had to balance the massive benefit somehow.

One thing's for sure though, this whole chain system doesn't make sense anymore after the update.

It's now a left-over, money is wasted in designing the chain system and programming it.

Still; I think they may overhaul it once more in the future.

 

So now they've planned matchmaking in favor of the destroyed balance due to overdrive and the missions themselves.

I'm pretty sure it'll do good to the game, I mean; it can't be any worse than what is happening now with all the blowouts.

 

But I believe they could've saved quite a bit of time and money if they didn't developed the missions in the first place but instead focused on the actual battle fund and calculate the rewards in there. It should be the main source of income. You play -> you earn. Alternative stuff like missions should be used for special items, not for main currency and supplies.

Back in the day tanki used to give out daily rewards instead of having to complete missions to get them. I agree it detracts from the game itself and becomes a chore.

I know that the current limit is 300. You don't understand what I mean. What I mean is that I have more than 1000s of friends from the past 3 years, which most of them did not play Tanki Online for 2 to 3 years.

 

What I am asking for, is for an update to be released so that friends in my friends list that did not play for 3 months or more will be automatically removed from my friends list.

 

Such an update will make sure that my friends list is kept more clean and tidy, less clutter, and so that active friends which regularly play Tanki Online are really my active friends which play Tanki Online the most. This is the kind of update which I want developers to release to improve the friends list system.

That would be a very unpopular move. It was done some time ago and many players disliked it.

Its easy, remove all the one that have ranks below brigadier (you can't play with them and then they can't drops gold to you). Then you keep the one you know about (if there names means nothing to you that's mean you don't know them), the one that you see often online and of course your close friends.

You have to start somewhere and you can do it all by yourself. TO has done what was required to reduce the lag, now it is your responsibility to deal with your list of friends. If you can't do it how can we do it? 

If they like you they will ask to friend you again.

There should be a way to know when was the last time friends were in the game, and maybe check boxes for easy deleting.

 

I have also suggested for a way to mark your "best" friends, that way we know who to not delete.

Me too. I wish there were a best friends list so that I could add the friends I play with most of the time and best friends which drop me gold boxes in battles.

It's a love/hate relationship for me with this update.

 

It's bad because now I've got to work harder for the same rewards.

 

It's good because now I've no stimulation to play daily, which means I put off playing, which means I never play :D

But , how about if I skip my missions chain progress for 2 days or more ???

Even if you skip a full week, you won't lose the chain :)

Due to unjust of players completing their mission by power leveling tanki block mission in pro battle pass.

Now like some mission earn crystals in battle and other type of mission should be opened in pro battle pass however player cannot use power-

leveling their.
