Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

I'm getting a lot more one sided battles than previously...maybe it's just because it is the first day of 10min battles.  The losing side starts losing its players whenever the first point or two is scored against them.  What I'm seeing in CP, CTF, RGB, TDM is first side to score wins.  Much worse than before...but it is just the first day, so time will tell.

 

Mission levels did not change, so it is much more difficult to reach them in a 10 minute battle.  Mission levels need to be reduced by 33% just like the time of battles was.  3 flags/goals in a 5 flag/goal game is too much.  On my alternate lower account I came in 1st place in a DM match.  I was in it from the very beginning of the battle and only got 115/125 crystals and 229/250 experience...and I came in 1st place.  I think levels of missions need to reflect the shortened battle duration.

I like the fact that CTF is now limited to just 5 flags. That's a very sensible change. It's rare that the score reaches 5 flags without one team completely dominating the other, so this will help end badly balanced battles.

I agree, but the system should also be better at creating balanced team in the first place.

 

I think levels of missions need to reflect the shortened battle duration.

I disagree, missions are not meant to be done in one battle (except "finish top 3"). You can do them by participating to different battles, so the difficulty is not bound to the default length of a battle.

Actually it does make sense reducing rewards from mission chains because you will get many more supplies by opening containers, you receive 125 supplies from 1 container + you also get from the chain.


Often you receive nothing.
So I don't know what is your point here:

 

 

Changes to mission chains not good! For battle length there should be new tabs like you want to play 10,15 or 30 minute long non-pro regular battle.


Keep dreaming.
The point is to make you stop playing without paying.

50 pts for cp - What's that about?

 

We're going to see the biggest summer slump in tanki history I feel. You're gonna have to give us special events every other weekend now until halloween if we're to stay interested but even then, you'll only attract those who don't care about the battle result. All this messing the game really is not necessary.

Yeah thats true, I keep getting same missions after changing. And reward is like 840 crys for a legend. Gone mad developers?

No one remember how this game was fun in the very beginning. Since then what they took from players?

 

1- Crystals dropping. Crystals start to be distributed unevenly at the end of the game, and in more quantity to the most cheating players giving them even more advantage.

 

2- All three drugs could no longer be activated at the same time (well, actually a good change, but..).

 

3- Balance changes that left the game uneven, cheating players and pay players can use you as cannon fodder, they get more crystals and exponentially cheat more and have more advantage on you and win even more crystals (see were it is going?). Thunder for example was dumbed down three times in a row.

 

4- Free players cannot create battles of any size unless pay. They only can create 5, 10 and 15 minutes battles.

 

5- No one can naming battles. They say people are using abusive names (didn't see any).

 

6- Free players cannot create any game at all.

 

7- A new more unfair weapons for cheaters, striker, magnum (they say that turret cannot rotate is a major drawback for this turret, but players hardly rotate turrets anyway, ricochet and Twins hardly turn them, so rotating the hole tank is a second nature. Then come also the extreme damage and the short recharge time)... As I said amazing for druggers and cheaters. 

 

8- More stupid stuff in the game..

 

9- Free battles from 15 to 10 minutes.

 

Future:

 

1- Free battles 5 minutes

 

2- Probably at some point, you will have to submit your credit card to be able to play at all.

Unless you pledge yourself as a cannon fodder, the, you can play some maps for free,  for the general fun of other players, and maybe you can even kill someone.

Many years ago I paid to get a better Thunder and to micro update it. Then I was rewarded by three game balances were my weapon of choice, the Thunder, were dumbed down three times in a row with a few months apart.
 
I've never paid again.
Including I went away from the game for a year or so, still don't know why I have returned.

Morbid curiosity perhaps?

 

Years back on one weekend, I remember renting a movie to watch. I can't remember the name of it but it was so so bad. Every 5 minutes I felt like switching it off and doing something else but there was something there that kept me watching it. I'd say to myself, it's got to get better in a minute - it'll get better in a minute. I ended up watching the whole thing. I was hoping for some kind of positive change but it never came. I felt robbed.

 

Whoever directed it knew how to keep your bum on your seat. It was the suspense that something good might eventually come. It was such a downer.

 

Tanki is like this.

Guys come on.. before the container in chains update we wasn't getting anything and now look what is happening (oh if i was in week 4 i should be on week 10 after the update) come on i already have 4 accounts in week 4 and by the way it is not that easy to be in week 10 so may be just may be if you finish your week 10 progress you will NOT lose your chains, it is actually a good update because sometimes like nives said : you're in vacation or other thing in real life you will not have to play tanki just enjoy your day.

 

and about 10min update it is actually bad especially in ASL Mode.. the red team should get 7/10 points for capturing 1 flag and 5 balls/5flags/50cp/50 kill in DM.. it is really bad

in the end with matchmaking sys i think it's gonna be fair because legends won't play with only legends anymore and generalissimos will not play with low ranks too.. (the same for other ranks)

 

from my side i was looking for matchmaking sys as a really bad update but after sometime i knew that it was better.. now players are joining winner team only and run from the loser team.

 

Don't write things without thinking about the good thing and the bad one

Just another rip deal by the designers. Now i have to maintain a 10 week chain to receive the same reward as i have now on 4 weeks. Most of the updates are downgrades if you ask me. Update for Moneymaking instead of Matchmaking....

I am not happy that for week 10 or onwards, Legend players only earn 8400 crystals.

 

Week 10, or onwards should always reward 10,000 crystals for the Legend ranks.

 

Please update the crystal reward for week 10 as 10,000 crystals for Legend players.

Since non-PRO battles became significantly shorter I suggest that supplies cooldown should be decreased as well and the overdrive should fill up faster... WHY?? because now in 10 min we have to accomplish what we used to accomplish in 15 min.

As a Magnum user, 10 min battle is really boring.

 

P.S. Don't tell me to use other turret I only use Magnum but you may tell me to quit this game.

??? Sarge don't be telling me, a magnum user for over a year, since I was below Captain, and have run it for hundreds of hours in every sort of match and map, that a 10 minute battle is borink. BeeEss.

After testing out the 10-minute battles, I decided I like'em. Kudos to the devs. The mission chain is worth it too.

So I don't know what is your point here:

Do you even play tanki or open containers? Often you receive 125 any supply by opening the container, that is double as you get from mission chains now.

played in a ctf battle 10 mins...easy got 1 flag we hit overdrive and laughed at them trying to get our flag as they got blown up 10 mins is a waste of space we just camped. and as for the matchmaking its just not going to work.DEVS you have lost the plot. to be honest you lost it way back.

Once any of the team caps 1-2 flags, they will literally camp in their base, how stupid and boring. Literally no time to get another flag, especially if the other team has way stronger opponents, it just doesn't work out.
