Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

True, but still i feel like mission chains should give players some kind of maybe bonus reward to the additional reward for being active every single day now, then i think this update could be great

I agree with you, and we're not alone. I think Tanki missed a good opportunity for a better change to the chain system. Even this idea I think is better...

 

 

 

Automatic Mission Chain Rewards System Idea

 

 

• This idea is like a mix between the current system, my previous idea and the planned update.
• There are 5 levels which could be called Weeks or Chains. I prefer Chains
• New players that want to do mission chains will start with Chain 1 and when they complete this Chain they unlock the next Chain. The same should be done to unlock the rest of the Chains.
• Once you unlock a new Chain or all Chains these remain unlocked forever.
• Chain 1 gives you half the rewards (2 containers) than Chain 5 (4 containers). Everyone wins.
• The progress bars change depending on the frequency you complete the missions.
• When you don't complete a step within a Chain's time requirement for steps, you go back one step in that chain.
• Once you complete the required steps for a Chain you can Claim that Chain's bonus.
• Once you claim a Chain bonus all the Chains reset to step 0.

This is how it could look like when incorporated to the missions window...

 

 

PS: This is my personal idea for mission chains.

I won't be pointing out fingers just yet - The update is not even here. Players might just like the update more and not losing the mission chain is a huge bonus. Getting x1 extra container is a bonus as well. And reaching mission chain 10 will be a challenging but challenge is great and 10 minute battles are nice as well. Saves 5 minutes of my time;p Good luck Tankers, potato's, cookies and aliens as well as the robots including the Zombie's that hide from the public eye. So many interesting characters in the Tanki CM  :ph34r:

Not a bad idea actually. Maybe if one player does one week straight in 7 days, the bonus for that week can be 1.05x more (would apply for supplies and crystals only though)? For those that take longer the bonus stays the same. I think adding an extra container for active players wouldn't be the best way to go about this (easier idea, but not best idea).

I have a very important question, tomorrow I'll end my 5 week streak and get my 3 containers, does that mean after update I'll be still in a week 4? Or as I ended my week 4 I'll be in week 5 next day?

I guess but people can do there week 10 in 2 weeks and maybe people who do there missions every single day they should get more rewards or something like that

But they do get more rewards. Once you get to week 10, you get 4 containers per week for playing everyday. The person who does not play every day gets 4 containers per every 2 weeks maybe.

It's funny to see at every update in Tanki - no matter if is good or simply horrible - how some kids are always enchanted: nice, awesome, I can't wait to play, cool, wow, etc...but they have no idea what that update means. :)

Another terrible update... what's the point to increase the chain from 4 to 10 weeks? So if you join the game 7 days in a month and complete missions you make a "week"?

The reduced lenght of the battles is one of the worst update ever made... now we'll have even less time to complete our missions or make something in the round, in addition everyone will start to use supplies full-time for make sure to be first or earn crystals and it will be impossible to have fun.

We'll be forced to play in this useless short battles because the missions are not counted in non-pro battles (regular battles after the matchmaking update).

Not a bad update after all....Since there are players ( like me ) who sometimes looses the mission chain due to various reasons.  :P  :P  ;)  :ph34r:

But not satisfied with the change in battle length from 15min to 10min. This is little bit disappointing though.  :ph34r:  :ph34r:

If you end your week after the server update, you will get the new chain reward tomorrow and you will move on to the next week (5 in your case). However, if you finish your week before the server update, you will be at the beginning of week 4 again tomorrow.
