okay actually one of the problems i have with getting a normal girl for a girlfriend is... (this is just one small problem there are much bigger ones but this one is odd)

 

I like to walk a lot and i walk very quickly. I HATE taking trains, buses, metro etc. no matter how far it is I prefer to walk. My normal walking pace is at least 3 times the speed of the average person. my friends walk the same speed and distance i do so it's not a problem with them but... with a normal girl... say i talk to her about going to this castle 100km outside of the city and i tell her "we can walk there"... just doesn't work. when i walk slower or take a bus or whatever I'm not at ease. I mean i can take transport but usually when i do it it's because i have something important to do so my attitude will be all seriousness and not social.

 

also i just can't stand it when normal people wait 1 week to take a train when they can just start walking and reach there in 5 days. this drives me insane.

 

 

so basically this problem is that my natural walkingpace and distance is too far from normal people's... so if i were to do anything with a girl it's either make her follow me and make it difficult for her or the other way round whereby i do it the normal way and make it difficult for me.

Find a girl that is into fitness, preferably a runner....In other words...go to the gym .-.

yesterday i spent the whole night with a girl i met... I noticed her legs were hard and muscles but she didn't look like some steroid monster so i approached her and started talking to her. (haven't done that for years) turned out she walks all over the country too! we started talking and i told her about what i saw when i was in spain and i said it was funny the churches there looked like and it was because they used to be mosques built by muslims when they invaded spain... and then after the spanish queen took back the land she converted thse mosques to churches... BIG MISTAKE. turns out she was some crazy religious and i had to listen to her talking about her interpretation the bible for 6 hours... :mellow: normally i wouldn't even have listened to someone talk to me about the bible for 1 minute but because it was me who brought up the subject and started the conversation i listened.. after 6 hours i decided enough was enough and i left. it was after 2am at the time so i had to walk for 2 hours to go back because there was no more metro. another fail

So, your idea of a first date is to ask a girl out to a castle that's 100km away?

 

Why don't you just, like...meet somewhere much closer to home?

If you want to take a train then and there, normal people just check the train times and book a train for a suitable time on the same day. People only wait a length of time to travel if they have an scheduled event to attend, or a planned visit or something.

Part of being a proper man (and a gentleman at that) is to be willing to suffer (even slightly) or change your normal actions/behaviour to suit the girl you are with.

i never work out anymore butwhen i work it's usually stuff like demolition or farming... when i did work out i used tractors in muddy fields although that was years ago.

I like to walk but not that much as you do. Sometimes I prefer to walk rather than take a public transport. I can walk with somebody I like for hours for sure and talk about meaningless things about life and have something in common.
