Back from Vacation (of TO) - Help me get caught up

I just returned after a nice break from TO, I came back just because I was bored honestly, and noticed a few things that, I can't seem to understand - First off is the two new battle modes, what are these? The client lacks tooltips in parts and those are one of those. Next is what the heck happened to my precious battle list! I used to be able to browse more than one mode at once, heck I could browse them ALL at once. So why the change? 

 

Anything else I need to add is undiscovered, so someone explain these without me having to watch the last uh idk 20-30 Vlogs

Assault is like CTF, except one team has to try to cap flags and the other defends.

In Rugby, a ball will drop somewhere in the center, and both teams try to take it to the other goal. You can throw the ball around with the F key.

The client may not have tooltips, but it has descriptions of those modes on the battle menu, so . . .

 

The ability to view more than one mode at once was removed because due to the unification of the battle list, the game couldn't handle displaying and updating so many battles at once. If before the battles were split between selectable servers, now they all appear in one list.

 

You need to tell us when you last played before anyone can give you an idea what happened in that time.

Major changes:

• Overdrive was added to the game. It takes some time to charge up, and destroying tanks, capping flags, etc will cause it to charge up faster. Once it is at 100%, press shift to give you and any nearby teammates full supplies for 30 seconds.
• There were changes to supplies as well, the cooldowns / smart cooldowns were reduced but the supply duration was reduced as well. You can enable three supplies at once now for a short time.
• The battle list was unified. This means that all the battles suitable for your rank are visible in the list. Once you choose a battle, you will automatically be taken to the correct server. (You can't switch servers manually any more). Chat was unified as well, with chat channels to help organize things.
• The non-PRO battle list now contains only 24 maps, many of which were changed/reworked. All of them are 10v10, and you cannot complete missions in PRO battles. There is also one "new" map, Yorkshire, which is basically 2016 New Year's map.
• You can only have up to 300 friends.
• Containers. Opening a container will give you a random reward, either crystals, supplies, premium time, gold box supplies, garage paints, Shop paints, or special paints which are only available in containers. They can be bought in the Shop, awarded for completing mission chains, or won from contests.
• 999999 missions were removed.
• The icons in battle were changed, you can now see the position of your flag and the enemy flag constantly.
• Goldboxes drop 10 seconds after the siren.
• Missions chains were changed: there are now 10 weeks to complete. However, if you miss any number of days in your mission chain, you will not have to start over, so you can work at your own pace. Once you get to week 10 you stay there forever.

Other things:
