Devs are planning on two new hulls.

The live stream has confirmed that the lead dev, seymon strizak (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) is planning to add two new hulls in the game. The first one is some sort of hover tank, obviously it hovers. The second seems like it will be a spider tank, now I don't know what ability it will have.

I think it would be cool if it's ability was to climb up slightly sloped walls.

What do you guys think.

You're a bit late with this. The talk about Hover and Spider hulls being added to the game has been going on ever since the plans for different Overdrives were announced. It was just mentioned yet again in the livestream. The hover tank idea topic has existed since 2014 :P

Not much to say about them now. In fact, Hazel isn't even sure if they will be added, since the Spider tank has multiple technical issues to overcome first, while the Hover tank may not fit well into the gameplay.

Sounds pretty cool.

When the hover tank jumps off a ledge it should travel further than another normal hull with tracks.

For the spider like tank it would be cool if it could climb up slopes, but not vertical walls on buildings/props. That would seem a little OP and out of this games nature.

Every turret in tanki has unique gameplay mechanics, which is why developers keep adding new ones. Hulls, on the other hand, are just used for moving around and are not that different from one another, besides the variety of speeds, sizes and protection levels. Developers plan to assign a unique overdrive ability to each hull, so once that happens, new hulls are likely to be added. But it's probably not going to happen anytime soon.
