Making the grind smaller - less EXP needed for Legend

The rank gaps and crystals distributions are just fine. They don't need to change. Now we have challenge that are monthly missions that makes Tanki Online gameplay more challenging and interesting for players, so players don't have to keep staring at their rank and become board at being at their current rank for too long and play Tanki Online more often.

I think now there are not much players who are interested to spend 3-5 years to reach Legend. 2021 is too different from 2013. I see some xp boost is reasonable, but now the xp boost is incredibly high.

Maybe Tanki have noticed that there are many new players who leave the game after a short while, so they boosted the xp to not make them feeling bored quickly.

I see the logical solution is to make the xp boost for x2, and the last rank should be Marshal (Legend start after Marshal directly)

Though Legend now seems too close to Marshal just a 3 ranks difference. But in real this period is extremely boring, in my past account I honestly stuck two years in these ranks. And in this account I just get bored and stuck also for a while. They must excise these three appendix ranks

The suggestion is "less XP needed for Legend" but this is not the case - it's still 1.6M XP, right?

I know the x4 XP boost is a thing but I guess it's more of a case of indirectly making the required XP smaller.

Why?  most of the items are unlocked well before Legend, so what difference does it make.

Ranking up fast is more hurtful than beneficial.  The largest issue is playing veteran players long before the newbie is ready.

Instead of xp-boost (which affects all levels of players) they should have lowered the amount of xp needed from Marshal to Legend.

For my honest opinion I really hate the xp boost, we see now how legend players play in a farce way. 190hrs for a Legend is just too low and not enough.

I don't even agree with my x2 boost. I want it to be like what it was. But why I said this, because I feel there are not many players interested to complete this long story nowadays. So players wont ever finish the game with 450hrs+, they don't want to play. 30hrs to WO1 is boring.

I learnt the game for many people from 2012, the number I can count from 2012-2013 is Six, for the ones who played for a reasonable while. Highest one of them reached IconsNormal 25.png. No one of them still playing.

Ok in the past months, I let the game for Two new people. I was watching with them to learn them how to play.  Honestly I found the normal hulls were hard for them, so I directly moved them to Hopper. BTW, they quickly left the game and no one even have reached IconsNormal 08.png. I try to convince them, but noway.

While in 2012 when I played, I was really excited and spent ages before reaching WOs. I don't know but I still believe that 2021 is too different from the past.

I am not surprised.   New players are set up to fail the way the game is designed currently.

Either way the goal of this idea was added - Getting to Legend now is much easier.
