So everyone with < 41% protection from shaft should just give up?

 

How does a Shaft - even an M4 with Assault emitters do 4000 damage? Isn't that 3000 dmg + 25%?   (3000 + 750) < 4000...

I never said it could do 4000damage...

 

and i said heavy capacitors, not assault emmiters

 

heavy capacitors gives 30% more damage, allowing a shaft to deal 3900damage in one shot, with double damage that's 7800.. so you'll need at least 49% protection to survive just that one shot

The update of the project ''Energizer'' is pretty nice but I have a question :why would we use the Hornet Xt one day and the other day the regular? I didn't understand that example ,so could you please help me?

even if i wanted to i wouldn't know when to because those sneaky cowards always hide behind some bush on the other side of the map.. had it been magnum or rail it wouldn't be so bad cause the shot doesn't hit me instantly and there's a warning before they fire (sound for magnum and turret glowing for relsa) and i get to use repair and activate double armour after i take one shot... but when it's those scoundrels i can't do anything cause when they land that first shot on me I'm already dead so i can't do anything.

I agree with you there - I mostly play medium hull, and hate it getting one-shotted before moving 5 m.

 

In the end it's not a modules issue - it's the fact they've boosted Shaft damage so much. 

 

Who cares about more recharge time - DPM means nothing in long run.  Campers are patient and will trade off more shots that just wound for fewer shots that kill. it's not the amount of damage you do over time, it's the number of tanks you can kill.

:mellow: I hate them so i became one to show them what it's like to be on the receiving end.. then a  clan saw me and recruited me cause they needed a shaft... so i had to remain one... and spend everything on MUing shaft and getting the alterations to better serve them.

I just thought of another problem with the planned update and my second quad module idea.

 

Problem: Players would need to constantly be changing protections one by one all 3 or 4 of them when they join battles depending of the map Matchmaking sends them to and other things.

 

Solution: Have a set of presets for easy changing.

This could indeed be one of the solutions.

 

Might have been MAF suggested that for each triple module you currently own, you would get a triple pre-set.

Own 12 triple modules?  Get 12 presets.

Own 1 triple and 7 singles?  You get 1 pre-set and up to 10 protections.  Then you would likely buy more presets - and each would be expensive.

I think one preset module is sufficient because you'll need to modify it every time according to the battle, so having multiple ones won't give you a huge advantage considering that you have no idea what turrets the enemies are using. In addition to that, it only takes a few seconds to modify a module which isn't a big deal.

I bought Thunder and upgraded to M4 - nerfed it

I bought Hammer and upgraded it to M4 - nerfed it

I bought Rico and upgraded it to M4 - nerfed it

I bought Freeze and upgraded it to M4 - nerfed it

I bought Isida and upgraded it to M4 - nerfed it

I bought Vulcan and upgraded it to M4 - nerfed it

Are you beginning to see a patern?

rico was rebuffed but it's nowhere close to what it was before  that big nerf before that

 

... isida was buffed???? :blink: the immortal turret is no longer immortal anymore..

The current Rico is pretty much the same as the old one, plus you can buy an OP alteration.

 

How Isida changed over time is a complex thing but to complain about it now is strange, in my opinion.

Different?  yes.  especially so isida.

Buffed or not I fail to see why he is complaining about Rico and Isida in 2018.

he wasn't complaining about it now... he was colmplaining about the wasted crystals he spent MUing isida so he could become a god with that divine turret blessed with the powers of immortality then. only to have them nerf it later on.

Buffed or not I fail to see why he is complaining about Rico and Isida in 2018.

I finally got smoky m3 then... the "rebalance".  Was not happy. At. All.

I tried - I really did - upgraded it to 16/20... but - now it mostly sits in my garage.  has lost it's luster.

What do you mean by "They will be removing all modules from the garage, So all those crystals have been wasted" ? Do you mean we will lose all protections and we have to start buying protections over from zero? If that is the case I don't think I will play this game anymore. How can they just take away items we have already owned as they wish. This would be absolutely unfair.

if you watched the v-log it will explain part of it. more will be on it this week or soon . they will let us know more on it..

For the reset ideas, there could be a cool down period before another reset. That way players are not constantly changing their module setups, something they could do even before joining battles after checking profiles.
